Everett Premier: ESA/Everett/Irish/Mukilteo/Silver Lake/Marysville/Lakewood North

Snohomish Premier: Snohomish/Sky River/Lake Stevens/Granite Falls/Arlington

Is this really going to happen?  What a nightmare this would be.

WOW look at that.

Now all you got to do is get all of those clubs to accept.  Good Luck.

I can't see every club hip on this idea, there are just too many egos.

If it was properly monitored and people were accountable and if the practice field logistics got worked out it might not be a bad idea.  In theory it would be a couple of rockin clubs.

You are right but those egos will join or go away. You don't need everyone ta agree to make this happen ;)

Not saying it's a good idea just saying that if you get nuff people/clubs on board with the idea then it will happen regardless.

Ithink it would be wrong if coaches ,clubs ect.. would not vote for this .They would be holding the kids back who might have talent ,and need to be at next level.I say it is about time north county got there heads out of there a**** and got with the program, these clubs need to push away there EGOS and let the kids go ,or in the end the parents will do it for them. Then what do you have??? just my thought ;)

Just a couple questions...

1.  If you are merging 5 select programs.  Where do the coaches go?

2.  It will be a monopoly on a select program, which means a monopoly on price.  Can the North end support a DOC that makes 100K/yr?

3. Where does everyone practice?

4. Will there be lines drawn in the sand so one premier club can't recruit from another one?

5 Who hold the premier clubs accountable and what happens if the are not performing like they should?

Speaking of mergers, there are a handful of us in the Northwest corner of the state who have wondered for a few years now what a combined Skagit Storm-Whatcom Rangers club might look like. The major drawback, however, is the geographical area such a club would span -- an obstacle that would be almost impossible to overcome. But everything else being equal, a combined Skagit-Whatcom club would, on paper, be very strong.
