Does Viet still play?  I saw him 2 years ago with the Sounders but didn't see him this year?   Fill me in Edwardo.

Think I was 3-1 last week.  That NWN tie got me.

EFC 2, ECFC 2

ECFC looks like their comming on playing well against United and Xfire.  Will EFC rebound after their United Crash.

Xfire 2 United 1
Just to be different and United still has to show they can win.  Looks llike Xfire picked up one of the better remaining Storm players.  The rich get richer.

Arsenal 0 Storm 1
Snohomish still must score against a decent defense before I give them this one.  Storm may get the counter with there big forward.

NWN 2 HSA 0
I thought that the NWNs would win at Federal Way last week, oh well, they should beat the Heat.  And EDDY cares...

OK -

Xfire (another player from Storm?) that sucks!

Xfire 0 FCU 2 (remember last years semi's FCU is much better this year)
Dynamo 2 Heat 1
EFC 2 Emerald City 0
Arsenol 2 Storm 1

A bad EFC loss last week, but lots of midfield play and "just" misses on EFC's part.  First goal looked like a cross that went in (good for them) number 2 a PK (tough break).  2nd half, kept coming in from the right and couldn't get the ball cleared. Last goal -same thing came down on the right and scored.  EFC 2 one on one's with goalie (no conversion) one really cool bicycle kick going just wide.  A REALLY long ball almost catching the FCU goalie on the 18 and additional 2 other balls just outside.  Was it an ugly loss - totally, are they down for the count, definitely not.  At this stage of the game (except for Dynamo) winning the games should win and losing the others.  Will that change the second half of the season?  Hopefully with our injured back - should help.  No backup goalie is very difficult for morale as well as stopping stopable shots.

Is that grass suit for sale? thats pretty cool hahahahah.

Funny pictures. I think it is so fun to see the coaches like Jimmy G and Bernie when they are younger, it cracks me up. Especially the short shorts and the crazy hair styles.  :?

Redcard,  nice picks last week, the Dynamo game got everybody (that recognize the beautiful game) too.  Dynamo dominated but couldn't find the back of the net.  Storm played tough, give them credit.

Picks for week 7

Game of the Year so far,  FC United vs Crossfire,  both quality teams,  tough defenses,  good midfield and up front too.  Coaching a toss up,  but this game is on FC United's home field and they always get the benefit of the doubt there,  huge advantage.

FC United 2 Crossfire 0

Dynamo have to learn to finish,  their offense (strikers/midfield) have to play together as a team,  one player can't do it all. They move the ball beautifully until the 18, then the solid teamwork stops,   If they begin to look for the simple pass especially  when they are double or tripled teamed, they would be scoring 3 or more goals every game. Perhaps this will be the week, I believe it will be Solid pick Dynamo.
NWN Dynamo 4 HSA Heat 1

Tough game to pick,  both solid on defense, and lacking on
offense,  Arsenal due to win more,  if Arsenal are home definite win, if on Storm home field, giant field edge to Storm.
Arsenal 1 Storm 0

What can you say,  ECFC 2-1 loss to FC United, Pink got creamed and from all reliable sources (NOT PvMS or MommySoccer, if the slipper fits ;)   ) EFC Pink was never in the game, total domination by United. EFC Pink is riding the "losing again in Eastsideexcuseaville" motto,  5th string goalie     Boo hoo hoo Cindy Lou Boo Hoo Hoo's ad nauseam.  ECFC on the other hand took United to the last second in very tight game, and played Crossfire tough, no crying by ECFC either,  just on that alone big edge to ECFC.
ECFC 3 EFC Pink Hankies 0

I'd agree on the game of the year, but Eddy.....FC United has one coach that compares to Mr. James and he coaches the U-18 team.

The rest while good coaches are not in the same category, with that said. Not many are, so it's not meant as disrespect at all.

I think this game ends up deciding who wins the league.

You mean the BU14 P4 clash between ESA and FCU Gallegos?  ;)  It's at 2pm at the United Fields on 44th St. E in Puyallup. Map to fields at http://www.fcunited.com/resources/fields.htm  There are also 2 pretty good warmup games before this.  At 11am a rematch of last year's BU12 state championship, NWN Forza vs FCU Navy, and then at noon BU14 P1 Crossfire James vs. FCU Zamira.

LOL LOL       Famj, Evergreen aren't even all that good.  In LPT's they killed us 5-0 and then in the bigfoot tourney we tied them 1-1 and their goa was on a curling corner kick.  Plus my team got scored on in the first half, and they were msising 3 players in the first half.  Then in the second half they showed up.  And putting Corssfire James and FC United NAVY Zamira as a warm up game?  Can you say CRAZY PARENT!!! :!:  :!:
