#6 Kennedy – Marysville Force
Mufasa got plenty of reports from the CP on Kennedy’s great weekend. She played a part in 5 of Marysville’s goal scoring one and assisting on four. She truly sees the field and creates for her team mates. She has a great first touch and can start the attack from anywhere on the field. This little super star plays wherever the coach asks from forward to keeper and does it with a smile. However, it wasn’t just her outstanding weekend that caught Mufasa’s eye in the nominations it was her behavior off the pitch. Over and over Mufasa heard what a nice young lady congratulating her opponents in the parking lot going beyond the simple hand shake. And guess what every report said she did it with a smile.

#1 Rosa – FC Crush
Here’s Mufasa’s first WILD CAT award winner!!! The Crush keeper had a legendary weekend at the Nike Cup. In the first three games she was on fire stopping all but one goal and that one couldn’t have been stopped by anyone. The thing that caught Mufasa’s eye was this little super star is at her best in the big match and it was the Sunday pitch where she shined. She made save after save even as everyone was sure the ball would find the back of the net out of nowhere – a diving save to keep her side in the match. Later as the match ended and each side was taking their kicks from the mark it would come down to the last kicker. The ball was headed for the corner when Rosa made another diving save to give the Crush side the victory!
