PS...If there's a sportsmanship award, my prediction is Aanvallen for sure!
This team plays hard whistle to whistle, and win or lose they don't hang their heads and instead show great support for the other team. I wish your team the best...how can you not love a team like this!!!
I agree bigtime. This coach has done a lot to turn not only this team (in their second year together) around, but he has also done alot to turn the whole Annvallen program around.
His team is a true reflection of what kid's sports should be. Compeditive AND good natured. Its only a matter of time before we see more great teams coming out of Auburn.
actually, Aanvallen 95 could be considered a "new" team this year as only 2 of the Baby A's came back. Both were playing up last year.
Thanks for the kudos for our team. They took it upon themselves, for the most part, to be great sportsmans. Parents did a good job raising these kids!
Aanvallen IS a great club to be a part of. This is my 3rd year with them from both DD's and I probably won't leave even if they do.
No BE, I am NOT volunteering .... yet!
As for the brackets, I read it as the top points leaders from ALL of the brackets will play each other.
From BlastOff:
A. Four (4) and six (6) team brackets.
The two teams with the highest number of points will advance to the Championship match.B. Five (5) and seven (7) team bracket.
The two teams with the highest point total will advance to the Championship match. The formula used to calculate the point total for teams that play four games is: total points divided by 4 times 3. Example: 20 points divide by 4 equals 5. 5 times 3 equals 15. (20/4) x 3 = 15. The team with 4 games will be assigned 15 points.
C. No quarter or semi final playoffs between brackets. The top two (2) teams in a bracket will play each other in a final match on Sunday.
