Good luck to these teams, I think I still wish you were playing in Washington.  But can understand the commute.  Do you pay for insurance out of Washington/Oregon or both for league play and state cup play?

I don't know about insurance, the club covers that. We still play in the Washington State Cups.

In Oregon,  teams play in qualifying tournaments to determine which division they play in during Fall League.  For instance,  this year there are 42 U12 girls teams between Oregon and Vancouver/Camas competing for a spot in Premier Gold, Silver, Division 1 and so on.  This weekend is the CQT (Classic Qualifying Tournament)  There are 8 brackets, with the top three finishers in each bracket earning  a spot the following weekend in the PQT (Premier Qualifying Tournament).  The teams that finish 4th or lower do not get to compete in the PQT and are placed in Division 2 and what they call the Classic Division depending how they fared in the CQT.  In PQT, the first place finisher in each bracket plays in Premier Gold, second place finisher Premier Silver, and third place finisher Division 1.  All teams, regardless of which divison they play in can compete in State Cup which starts in early November.  OYSA also has a Presidents Cup which teams Division 1 or lower can compete.  I hope this helps.

Vancouver teams register in Washington and pay all of their player registration fees to Washington.  Their Associations and the State release them to the neighboring USSF Member Association (Oregon).  Insurance follows them.  State Cup must be played in the State in which your team resides.  Couv = WA

Mr. Heat
I don't think that the Wasghingto teams can play in the Oregon Cups.

Apple,
Heat had the best explaination. I would have said its like the LPT's in Wa for U-14 and above. Premier Gold=P1 Premier Silver=P2 and Classic 1= P3.

I would prefer we play in the Dist 3 Leagues. Travel would be costly, but we could end up with teams from Bend, Redmond, Roseburg and Medford in our league. That would be costly,

Eggy,

You're right.  Washington teams cannot play in Oregon State Cup.  I'm sorry I wasn't more clear on that.

TimBlu 0 FCV Xplosion 0- very hard fought game. FCV's offense kept the ball on the TimBlu end for most of the game. TimBlu defense fought tough the whole game. Classic battle of two quality teams.

The TimBlu goalie was outstanding today against her former team.

TimBlu 3 Sherwood Shock 0- TimBlu did not let down after their morning game. Sherwood continues to get better and will catch someone sleeping this weekend.
