No Soup--as I have said before, everybody gets a lil touchy.  All teams are trying, working hard with the players that they have, rankings don't mean jack, some parents go overboard in their passion and in a few years everybody (who is LEFT) will have calmed to a nice gentle relaxation towards soccer.  Good luck to all.

I know alot of kids on the Nemesis, and the Indys. They're all great kids, I know both coaches very well, I like and respect both of them. I will always stick up for Vancouver teams as our team is also a Cowtown team and our kids have played with most or all of the kids from either team. All the kids are working hard, they all deserve credit. I only get touchy when someone fails to engage their brain cells before blasting someone.

Did you even SEE the intended pun to Victory?> Nope that was a very bad pun.  (the poster not the team) Did you see the next post of mine where I said "I did NOT see the game and it was a LONG way to make a joke that wasn't funny" ? Nope - didn't see that post.  Gads, a little defensive aren't we ? > Sure.  My dd's team works very hard to have any CP cut them down even if it was a joke.  Or maybe you're always mad?> Nope.  Never get mad and wasn't mad at the statement.  Just clarifying with facts which you don't have.

You may remember I recommended the Nemesis earlier in the year as a good little team to play for?  Nope.  Don't remember that - just remember you saying you were glad your kid didn't play competitive soccer.

It is ironic to this guy that all the bottom feeding blokes are having a debate over these teams.  I think it is time to look in the mirror, you will just see yourself looking back at your own ugly mugs bub!

But  like I said the tournament season is just getting ready for the "reaL' season to start.  Its just a warm up  :D

I am sure all the dds  find the post the parents make very amusing or entertaining, but I would venture to guess they would rather play with all the heart and fire on the field and leave all the verbal tossing to the CPs!

I imagine, no I REALLY imagine a world, a wonderful world, a fabulous world where NOTHING ever changes. Where a kid can play non-competitive soccer and ALWAYS stay there. What a wonderful place that would be.

Better yet a world where a kid can play up a year or two in spring rec soccer THEN go BACK to their premier club,,,,,, naw,,,,couldn't happen.

But the BEST part of this world is when people who have nothing else to do remember every little bit of minutiae and tries to catch you in something.

Could it be a kid WAS playing rec while there was no ALC soccer going on ? COME ON, YOU'RE TEASING ME NOW !

Yes this is a good idea.  We could buy soccer equipment for poor kids in Ethiopia, Cambodia or Medina.

I'm down for that, soccerdaddio, as you know I have a high regard for you, so you and I are buds, we have no problemo, it's all good.

Little does Vantucky know that I know her, know her kid and everyone else on her DD's team. And off this board, we are friends of sorts, acquaintances really.

the wolf pup ? I don't let my kid read his posts, but I'd bet he'd be a good mud wrestler. A fun guy to have around. Keep him chained up until some of my ex-football buds came over for southern barbeque. MAN those boys can EAT !!!

I would definitely invite Victory to the hoe-down, word is he's a barbequer of some renown.

My music of choice would be more along the lines of "Bang your head" by Quiet Riot but I'm negotiable, to a point.

wow, yo' team looked sharp over weekend, missed 1 of your games, but others looked very good. Independence looked very strong also. I see next weekend you play them, should be a good one, hope to see it. Didn't get to see Timbers red play, couldn't fit them into schedule. How'd they do ?

Hi Victory,

How did your friendly game go with NWN Red over the weekend?  Any news?

  :)       We played them even to even a bit better first half.  0-0 at half.  Second half Red mid ran over our mid to get ball and took off for goal (only one center so can not see all and we were playing physical too ) Our 2 center defenders thought ref was going to call foul so stopped ( lesson learned by these 2!  Always play the whistle) Red girl went in for pretty easy goal.  Later Victory girl ducked out of way   of corner and ball ended up on the 6 with everyone looking at it in surprise.  Red girl tapped it in.  2-0 at the end.       This game was much closer than that score would indicate.  We had many more shots than them but they made theirs count.  Well there is always next time.
