Everyone has their own opinion on who is ranked where, my rankings are based on team strength and talent when playing 9v9.
During tournament time everyone has been playing 11v11 with key players missing or playing with no subs, hats off to all the girls playing with heart and fire:
#1 I have a hard time with this one but speed and strength prevails and I have two teams tied for first- AYSA Strikers with speedy forwards and a dominent defense and FCV Courage with plenty of speed and talent.
#3 WPFC Black- This team has one of the strongest forwards at U11 and a tuff defense to go with it. Congrats on Beaverton Cup Championship
#4 Tied at #4 are Force '95 and ECFC Green Both well rounded teams with strong players and good coaching.
#6 3 Rivers- A team loaded with talent and very athletic girls and a very good coach to teach them the ropes, this is a team to watch, once they learn the possesion game they'll be a well rounded team.Congrats on Portland Cup Championship
#7 EFC Red- This team depends on their strength which is speed of play catching teams off gaurd. (Defense wins championships) Congrats on Raineer Cup Championship
#8 X-Fire Thomas- This team is still searching for themselves and looks to have found themselves at 11v11 but at 9v9 the team is still growing. This team has a few girls with U11 experience that carries the team. Congrats on X-fire Tourny Championship
#9 FC Crush- A team to watch- has an extremely talented forward and strength in mid and defense. Size and strenght may hurt this team in big games. Congrats on Lake Oswego Nike Cup Championship
#10 FWU Reign Purple- A well rounded team that is improving each week but would like to see them paly in bigger tournaments.
Bubble teams- Cascade Cup Champions Timbers Navy,NWN Red, CB United, X-Fire Smetzer and Timbers Royal.
Remember this is all for fun and just my opinions after watching several summer tournaments, this season will look completely different when playing 9v9.
