SA - Of course, I was surprised at the ranking.  Why? Because there are so many exceptionally talented U-11 teams out there.  The top ten teams Ninja listed would give each other a great game on any given day.

If the tourny was played 9v9, I'm positive things would have been different. Hence my list is made up for 9v9 not 11v11. BTW I AM NOT A STRIKERS CP.

Watch and wait...GU11 is NOT where it ends folks!!  Lots more soccer to be played...years and years in fact...

RC its not about giving or getting credit.  You should be grateful that the big cat likes you enough to put your team in the high Bs and leave it at that.

Ooopps...sorry if that read like an offer.  I am happily married to a total stud!!   ;)  ;)  ;)
I just meant it so easy for people to be so nasty and so negative toward other teams when they don't know the players or parents and can hide behind their WPS identity...

I love my team just like the rest of you.  And I don't have to say anything negative about other teams to enjoy watching my DD play!   :mrgreen:
I was simply making the comment that ALOT changes between GU11 and GU14/15...just from personal experience.  And also saying that OUR COACHES ROCK!!!  (got a couple of PM's confirming that....)  :)

I've seen alot of these teams play, and I have to admidt the Striker's have one of the top defence's around.  Their goalie ain't bad either.

Having seen the Strikers play a few times now (Starfire, RC, Xfire), I would say it's their offesive attack that is their greater strength.  They have worked out an attack from all three sides of the pitch.  I have seen them drive the ball down the left side of the field and then score from the right and vise-versa.

I have seen their midfield push into the attack as traditional strikers or fall back into a semi flat-back zone defense.  Then push out again into a 4-3-3 attack.

I agree their goalie is totally the-bomb.  That save she made against EFC by coming off her line to slide tackle the ball has a taste of professional training.
