UW vs SPU
« on: August 18, 2006, 11:25:54 AM »

FYI, just heard this from some guys at UW that there is an informal exhibition game tonight (Friday) at UW at 7:00 o'clock against Seattle Pacific. UW is good, and I believe SPU isn't too shabby either. Might be a good game for anyone who wants to see what the local college soccer scene is like.

Somebody posted before I could, but come on out and cheer on the Purple & Gold.....or the other team if you wish.... who was it again?

UW Men defeat SPU 4-0.  UW played well, but you could still tell this was a preseason game as timing was off on some passes and teh forcing the ball was more obvious.

SPU seemed to be behind on everything from fitness, to passing, to no communication.  I am surprised with this being their 2nd game and about to start preseason that they looked as unorganize.

UW has 3 really great new players on the field.  Rylan Hawkins as GK (Redshirt Freshman), Taylor Hoss in at def. looked GREAT, and a transfer from Highline Comm., Rafa, has some great feet!
Great job UW!
