JCUBS top 12 is back

#1 FC Royals Blue- Playing against top U-11 teams and has been undefeated, Only lost to two teams this year.

#2 Tied for this position is Eastside Red and Timbers- Both have proven to be tough teams and would love to see a rematch of these two teams, the Timbers barely getting by in their first match probably wouldn't go the same way the second time around.

#4 XFire- also another team which has proven itself to be tough playing up at U-12. Sorry Simon, I know you guys probably feel you should be ranked higher

#5 FC Crush- Has lost two games during regular season but can match any team with speed, strength, and talent. Where in the world is G.O.

#6 NWN Red- Even though they lost a game against a rival team in D-1 they are full of talent and come state cup watch out

#7 Another tie between Reign Purple and an unproven SC Eclipse
Eclipse makes top twelve after beating NWN Red but the question is are they as good as D-III teams.

#9 Eagles-L- Making a big splash after beating Crush

#10 Harbor FC- Good enough to hang with top teams but waiting for better finishing

#11 Another tie between two tough teams FC Vancouver and Dos, both with good teams but unable to score when it counts.

Teams on the bubble- Norpoint, Royals-white, Eastside-white, Crossfire Amy, Velocity, And.....................

There you have it now you can let me have it, Undoubtedly one of these top twelve will win the Challenge Cup this year.

Good Job Jcub
I can't really argue with your rankings because I really haven't had the time to see all these teams play or dig into their stats. :(  so for now your list is official

Hopefully I will soon and be able to stuff all kinds of stats and info into my little cheesey brain and have some kind of ranking come out...and "rank" it might be     ;)

Dragon would print out list of names like he did on SP, but now that most CP's tell Dragon who they are in a PM, Dragon feels sworn to secrecy. (and you know how Dragon love secrets) ;)

Just rest easy knowing they are all here.   ;)

Only ones' Dragon don't know about are:

Blazer

Alot of chat about D-III teams but I think the overlooked team that will surprise alot of teams in the Challenge Cup is a D-I team NWN Reds

As stated before:  Too inconsistent. Some incredible talent on that team but not enough of them to carry the rest through a state championship.  Next year though??  With some adjustments, entirely possible!  Don't get me wrong, enjoy watching this team immensely but just not sure they can be consistent long enough to make it through.

Hey Master ranking man (Jcub), just a few words of advise from the "Wiseone":
-Be careful in the constant self promoting of your NWN Red girls..great team and one to lookout for in the near future no doubt, but, not really a top 5 or 6 team as of right now...you're making them out to be way too good.
-If your NWN girls get beat by a SC Eclipse team that you don't think really highly of, you just can't place them immediatly as a top team...you just kind of move your girls lower in the rankings if you know what I mean.
-Put more emphasis on difficultly of schedule and Summer tournament successes,  FC Vancouver ranked behind two Dis. 1 teams..apparently you haven't seen them play.
-If you put alot of emphasis on "one" big win...Like the Eagles Laity over Crush and rank them #9....then you should rank SC Eclipse above your own girls...hell, they have the exact same record!!
- lastly, "let go of the ego"

I wouldn't be surprised if a few teams get bumped out early, depending on match-ups and bracket play, any team could advance to quarters and semi's and even finals. I think it would be hard to knock all of the top six out of that campionship game.

Lake Stevens Eclipse/Thomas 5 U11 Tournaments (providing LS Soccer Bash can be considered a legitimate tournament...otherwise just 4 U11 tournaments) in the summer...1) Lost 2-0 to D3 Eagles/Laity in the semis of the Snohomish Gold bracket.  2) They dropped to silver bracket of the Skagit River Cup and won 2-0 over Extreme  in the finasl (Tied D3 Crossfire - Amy 0-0 in bracket play).   3) Did not advance out of bracket at Diadora (lost 4-0 to D3 Crossfire Porter).  4) Won 3-0 over FC Silver Lake Stars in the final of the Lake Stevens Soccer Bash.  However, Opponents ranged from a rec team, a U10 team and their club's B team.  5) Labor Day Kick Off...they lost 1-0 to NWN 94 Blue in the finals.   11 wins - 5 ties - 4 losses.  52 goals scored and 15 against.

Good analysis of the FC Vancouver team. They are 3-1-1 vs the Timbers if you include the jamboree game. They may not be doing well in the D5 GU-12 league, but they are a good GU-11 Team.

Not sure which 'old timer you were asking but this one will answer...they beat Eagles -Griffith 6-0 at the Beverton Cup and also defeated the Reign White by the same score at the CW Revolution.  Both good showings but these teams would hardly be considered D3's best.  They lost 2-1 to the Tri-Cities Lightning in the finals at Beverton.  Tri-Cities was a tournament team from that area also participated in the Crossfire Challenge's Silver bracket.  The only significant D3 team that they faced there was Harbor 94  Massee.  They tied 1-1 in bracket and then lost to Harbor 2-0 in the finals.

FC Van. & Timbers are playing in the highest level district 5 league at GU12 and doing well...Crossfire P. is considered to be playing in a "3rd level" league and doing well..put these three teams in top Dist. 1 and you've got a top three with everyone else fighting for  positions like the Dos'es, HSC Eagles & Crossfire Amy who are all good teams.

I think Wiseone is confusing some teams and districts. Everyone knows the Timbers have a competitive team and FC Vancouver has beaten them a few times which obviously would make them a good team also. Wish all these teams could be in a state league to see where they stand but that won't happen for a few years, Until then we'll have for state cup. Any ideas which cup these teams will be playing in?

It would give away the team their DD plays for :?

411 is correct with his FC Vancouver stats. They have also played and competed well with the SUnderland, Ireland and Saburo teams out of Oregon. In Oregon they have three levels of U-11 and these teams are the class of the top division.

411 needs new computer. Eclipse played 7 Tornaments. Get facts right and re-report. Look up Tournaments on WSYSA and scroll through U-11 and U12 brackets. :)  :)Got to be sneeky

Sc Eclipse summer tournaments
« Reply #29 on: October 30, 2005, 12:37:35 AM »

I talked to a few of the SC Eclipse parents who told me that the majority or their summer tournaments were played against U-12 teams vs their own age group. Looks like they did quite well if this is the case.
