Jcubs Top 12 Week #8 Regular season
« on: October 31, 2005, 11:59:50 AM »

Wow, what a weekend of soccer. Here we go Jcubs top twelve

#1 FC Royals 8-0-0 Still undefeated in regular season with a tuff match against Harbor Fc but Royals were able to put more in the back of the net.

#2 Eastside Red 7-1-0 Playing well but having good compitition in the next few weeks, can they hold everyone off and take the GT championship :?:

#3 NWN Red 6-1-0 A little different compitition but are a talented team. Beating one of Oregons best U-11's in Chinook cup ESU Sunderland. Watcha tink W-1

#4 Crossfire Porter 3-0-4 A play up at U-12 and Haven't lost yet, well done.

#5 A tie between Reign Purple and the Columbia Timbers with identical records 5-2-1. Timbers also a play up at U-12 and coming off a loss and the Reign with a big win over the Crush. Keep up the good work girls

#7 FC Crush 5-3-1 A tuff run of games but still think they can match up with any team, Watch out EFC Red.

#8 FC Vancouver 4-3-1 Also a play up at U-12 and playing the Timbers to a tie earlier in regular season

#9 Another tie between Harbor FC and Eagles L with identical records 3-4-0 Both teams doing well in a good division

#11 Eclipse 5-2-0 A tuff loss against Snoho showing on any given day.

#12 A three way tie between SSC Patriots and Velocity with identical records 6-1-1 in D-3 GP and Dos 3-5-0. DOS showing well against teams in the tuffest GU-11 Division in the state of Washington.

Bubble teams: ESA, Eastside White, Norpoint, Snoho, Royals White, and more.........................................

Looking ahead at the scheadules for the next few weeks, anything could happen
Stay tuned for JCUBS top twelve week # 9.

Hey Jcub, a bracket win back in July against a good team from Oregon.  Your girls didn't even advance into the semi's that tourny, but,  the Timbers and FC Vancouver Explosion did.  Just a few weeks ago your girls lost to an Eclipse team that ended on the short side last week to a lower level D1...I'm sorry..I'm just trying to figure out how you've now got your girls at #3.  Let me help you again ;)

1.   Royals
2.   Eastside Red
3.   Crossfire P.
4.   Timbers-  lost...but not enough to move down
5.   Reign-  deserving move with a win over a strong Crush team
6.   Crush-  Still powerful
7.   FC Vancouver-strong and consistant as of late..deserve a one up.
8.   Harbor- Hate moving them down to # 8 from what I'm hearing was a great performance against the state's best.
9.   NWN red-good team with lots of talent,  lost to a now middle of the road Eclipse earlier in the year that makes it difficult to rank any  higher.
10.  Dos-good team with lots of talent...just a tough D3 division.
11.  HCS Eagles Laity-good team with lots of talent...tough D3 division
12.  Bainbridge Blue-plays in a weak D4..but talented
13.  SC Eclipes
14.  Crossfire Amy
15.  ESA

Funny Wise one, NWN lost to the #2 team Eclipse in their Dist. Would not say middle of the road, and remember on any given Sat. Another thing, what happened to Skagit? Beat ESA twice. In that case Crush should be ranked below HCS Eagles for their loss. Crossfire Amy, why are they on this list. Many other teams have won a least one game. Crossfire P should be at the top of the list, great team! Just a little info.  :)  :)

Gumby, I hear what your saying, but, if you look at results of all the games played so far by Crossfire Amy, they've only been blown out by two teams...the two top teams in the State.  As much as I want to include some other deserving teams from D1 and D3 plat., you still need to look at Summer tournament results which would bring you right back to Crossfire Amy...they've done well.  Not yet ready to add good teams like Patriots, Norpoint and Velocity and other D1 & D5 teams with lots of wins. Go see tournaments that these teams have pleyed in and you'll understand what I mean.

Velocity was still trying to figure its self out during the tournaments.  It started to come together at the Sea Tac Cup.  Watching how well they played Saturday against a GOOD Royals White team and I think they have it somewhat figured out now.

You validate a point I'm trying to make with Summer Tournament and difficulty of schedule influence on rankings...if you see on the Sea Tac cup Website, it has a Harbor team winning that with a blowout win against a team that beat Velocity to get there...yet is tops in the D3 plat.  As much as you want to rank them and teams like the patriots in the top 15..its tough to do.

If I ranked teams on the teams I know from playing and how they played against our team, rankings would be different.

#1 Timbers
#2 Royals
#3 Eastside Red
#4 Crush
#5 Xfire
#6 NWN Reds
#7 Harbor
and so on.

Each team has good qualities and different weapons, it's just who's weapons are working the best and that paticular day.

This is all for fun and I hope I didn't offend you or your dd's team.

Wise one you always wait till Jcub do his rankings first then you reply negatively. By the way NWN Red beat East Side Red at Diadora, Sunderland at Chinook and Harbor at jamboree . Out played Timbers at Chinnok but had a day could not get it in. Timbers coach came over said great game you had us all the way. You surely have something for NWN Red relax and let Jcub do his thing Jcub keep it up looks pretty good to me.

You know one week my DD forgot to get her socks in the wash and they were crusty and threw her game off. Another time she had a very beautiful ribbon in her hair. These girls are 9 to 10 years old and there complete attention is not always on the game, and I for one am glad it's not. I will never get a second chance to have a little girl. There will be plenty of time to be hard a## about soccer later. A season will not prove one team better than another nor will State cup. Oh, sure there are striations but to nit pick about specfic teams, come on people. Everytime these boards get into these duldrums I have turn the computer off and go hug that girl and ask if she is having a good time. I know we are all CP's but we should be like Duffer says and just say
GO BIG RED   NOOO! I Mean
GO PORTER!!!!

My DD likes dirty socks.  Clean ones are "itchy"  Also do not try and put ribbons in her hair!

Out played Timbers at Chinnok but had a day could not get it in. Timbers coach came over said great game you had us all the way. You surely have something for NWN Red relax and let Jcub do his thing Jcub keep it up looks pretty good to me.

Hey Hefe...no negatively and having a little fun with Jcub  :) ...look at my posts, always saying positive things about all teams yours included.  However, it's like the comments you have above that make me chuckle a bit..."out played Timbers but couldn't get it in and the coach said you had us all the way".  I'm not using that as criteria for my rankings and I don't thing Jcub is either.  I realize there are lots of NWN Red fans on this forum and just want to have everyone look at a non bias fun for all rankings.  The main point I'm trying to get across is that I don't think NWN red is a top 3-6 team right now..many other teams that deserve that credit.  Could your girls win the state cup..yes ;)

Wise one looked like hefe just making a point do not think he is using example of Timbers game for ranking. I think NWN Red is a top six team. You sure have it against them I do not think Red is Jcubs team. May not be a three team but top six yes. Jcub you are doing a fine job it is not easy

Funny to see how many NWN CP's are worried about where they rank. Wait till March and see who is the best, on the most important Sat. or Sun.of the year. To early in their soccer careers to worry about who's the best. Lot of great teams out there. Great job on rankings! Maybe this should be NWN fourm. :P  :P
