BCS Week 9
« on: November 01, 2005, 01:45:43 AM »

After some much needed input, advice, research and game watching, here is what I've come up with for the week 9 BCS..(Blue Chip's Sillyness).
I've taken the advice of many, and weighted the summer tournaments, but I can't weight them "heavily" for 2 reasons.
1.  The clubs with more than 1 team rotate there A and B players around as guest players all summer long.  They don't have to set their official rosters until league play.  This partially explains the success of Crossfire Amy and NWN Blue throughout the summer.  They played with Porter players and NWN Red players respectively.  Their true teams weren't established until league play.
2.  Gumby hit it on the head in his post on "blah blah blah" regarding Crush and the learning curve.  At this age the learning curve is huge.  A lot of teams are "getting a clue" and catching up to the upper level teams.  Yes those teams are also improving, but their curve is flattening out, as Gumby explained.  This is why I couldn't put too much emphasis on the earlier tournaments.   May and June were a long time ago in the GU-11 world.

So here goes;;
1.  Royals Blue
2.  Crossfire Porter
3.  Eastside Red
4.  Columbia Timbers
5.  Reign Purple
6.  NWN Red
7.  Crush
8.  Harbor
9.  Patriots
10. FCV Xplosion
11. Eagles L
12. SC Eclipse T
13. Velocity
14. Dos
15. YYSC Blazers
16. Eastside White
17. Norpoint
18. ESA
19. SilverLake
20. Crossfire A
21. Skagit
22. Badger
23. Royals White
24. NWN Blue
25. Everett
26. Tri Cities Lightning
27. Bainbridge Blue
28. Alliance
29. Chika Lobos
30. Force
31. Eagles G
32. Mukilteo
33. SC Eclipse W
34. Aanvallen Green
35. Reign White
36. ECFC White
37. Crossfire L
38. Thunderbirds
39. ECFC Green
40. Sky River Extreme
41. Snoho Red
42. Avalanche

There you go.  Have a great week!!

Good of you to notice that some teams combine during summer. Some teams do to win a trophy, some do to find chemistry. Good of you to notice. Job well done!

Great job going out 42 spots

thats a lot of reserch.  If gonna go out that far, might as well go all the way and add teams from U11 Silver Ruby as well.  That would make a couple CP's happy :D

Maybe stick to top 25 like the College football polls.  To many make it a little confusing :?

Some of the College football polls actually list more teams then 25.
ie. Jeff Sagarin rating with USAToday (he lists all 200+ teams
