In honor of For Keeps dog named MOOSE  , what are funniest or strangest names for pets that you know---And you can't use Steve Martin's dogs name in the Jerk

I knew a couple of terriers known as Salt and Pepper (one white and one black).

Lets see...... our Zoo has/ had: ( M) Beings aka Doper, shephard
( M) Repod, aka Peerod we got after Doper, so Repod is Doper spelled backwards    His name got changed top peerod when we would come home, he was sooo happy to see us that he left a little trail of pee
(M) Angus, black lab/ shephardafter Angus Young of AC/ DC
(M) Ranger, Pit Bull mix, only a short time with us NOT named for Texas Rangers.
(F)Sammie, border collie mix.....
( F) Bubba, didn't have a name for her at first, I just called her Bubba. Hubby came home and we talked about names. Bubba fit, but her names now are Louie, Dopey, and *^%$head!

Cats:
Mouser ,Rodent, Mouser II, Varmint all tiger striped cats and full of energy.

Rabbits, Pepper ( grey, black and white )
Licorice , all black
they had babies, after being told that they were BOTH females!
We named them Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner!

etc animals

Hermit Crab, Scooter
Hamster, no name....

Birds,
Ricky, parakeet
Cockateil, but I forget the name.

Fish,
assorted kinds and names, the longest one we had was Pong ( won from the fair using ping Pong balls) , was a goldfish that was 8 inches ling and 2 inches wide and about 4 inches tall. We had him for 6 years.
Still have 2 angels and 2 sucker fish in a tank

He is a big beautiful  100 lb "yellow lab"....but he is special.  He is considered a "yellow lab", yet he is all white.  He is very tall for a lab and sweet as can be.  He was nick-named "Moose" by his breeder.  Why?  Because he is a really tall, broad white lab with a big snout  :D  Big beautiful brown eyes     The only thing "yellow" on him is his ears and a bit on the rough of his back.
You get the picture ?
He is my DS...can you tell???    He is beautiful and is never more than 1 foot away from me    :D

Our dogs name is simple -- Milllie
(Golden Retriever)

Father in law raised beef cattle in the back yard--named them sirloin and T-bone---only problem is one day they came out to butcher and sirloin had beefed up so well that she had baby sirloin overnight    Thats a real cowboy...haha

Peerod has got to be a Cocker Spaniel, right?  Been there... done that.

We got a new English Cocker puppy.  The English don't seem to have that problem.  :D   He's jet black, we named him "Coalton" or "Coal" for short.

Pet names...
We have had a few......
Nothing original though...
We had a mix dalmation/lab... she was white with black spots... named her Dottie.
Then we had a strange mixed mutt named Muffin.

Now... we have 4 dogs... bought the first 3 a year apart....
Sam... our very grumpy peekapoo
Max... our very loveable peekapoo who will go home with anyone and loves to ride in Michelles car.
Sassy... the adorable peekapom... everyone wants her.
And lastly... Liza, a very old sheltie. 3 years ago when granny had hip surgery.. I began taking care of Liza. I hated leaving Liza at Grandmas house alone so I brought her to my house. She never left. She LOVES herding the 3 little dogs around the back yard.
She feels that she has a purpose in her old age and that is fine with us.
We had 2 giant guinea pigs... Lilly and Peaches. Talk about stink!  Parents.... rodents are NOT good pets unless you want to clean their stinking cages every other day. EW!

And of course... we have numerous Betas. My sister bought 2 for Lollipop. I think she named them but that was long ago. When the first one died... I paniced... I took the dead fish to petsmart and said... I need another one just like this only alive.
I did that for a few years. Alli finally told me that she knew what I was doing and that I could just let them die. We are down to one fish... its blue so we call it blue fish. Its been with us for 3 years. How long do they live anyway?????

Dang Keeps, I think my yellow lab may be your labs brother.  The description of Moose fits my dog to a 'T'.  He is my favorite in our little zoo at home :D  don't tell the other animals though - they don't know that ;)
