Same here, way too cold and rainy for Cheese, only go to DD's game.  Cheese likes to be kept dry. ;)

And that does not mean kept dry in a can

Well, gotta hit the road now, good luck to all.  Look forward to lots of great reporting by CP's

Dos v. Thunderbirds 1-0
« Reply #11 on: November 05, 2005, 04:52:00 PM »

Awesome game!!!  Dos definately controlled the game far more than the 1-0 score would indicate!  They looked sooooo good!  The whole Dos team came to play today...we got the win and that sure does make them feel great! I am so happy to say they are playing as a team and making things happen!  Our centermids, sweeper and defense have really proven themselves to be a force to be reckoned with! Dos had at least 15 shots on goal...I lost count...if they can find a way to convert even half the time...LOOK OUT!!!  Either way, I say "GOOOOOOOOO DOS"!!!!  Thank you Thunderbirds for a hard fought but fair   game...nice parents, and a great field!  Good luck the rest of the season! ;)

This was a good game. Lots of action and could have gone either way.
I vote that ALL teams are TOTW this week and all girls are POTW because it was freezing out there. Our 2PM game was cold, rainy, windy........  all the girls worked their butts off.
Great job ladies!

Royals 4 Eagles-G 0
« Reply #14 on: November 05, 2005, 07:00:50 PM »

Eagles girls came out to play, the RRG's were ready.  Good game to watch despite the cold windy wet weather.  1-0 halftime.  Once the RRG's scored again, the coaches put in the Back Up goalie, who has never ever ever seen game time in the goal, and she did pretty AWESOME.(What can i say, it was my DD, so I am biased) Our regular keeper played offense and she did a great job as well.  Score ended 4-0.

Great day for the girls despite the nasty weather.....They all played hard as they do every week.  Until next week.....

You stated this well and congratulations to Potatoe who did a great job in goal. She told me after the game that she was scared but you would not have known it. She did a great job and Brooke did as well as forward. This is short and sweet since we have to be out the door in 10 for the Royals/United Auction. From those of us down South great job to both teams and thanks Eagles for your line up with our parents after the game. That shows what true sports you are.

Hey BB, score ended Royals 4 Eagles G. 0.

You must have been too excited watching Potato to notice the last goal    Nice job LCC, Potato, G, Megaloops, Looneytooney (that was fun, I dont care WHO ya are) and sweeper girl. And of course all the rest of the RR girls who don't have Crazy names yet:)

Gumby, I promised you I would give you a play by play on the Crush and EFC game and I will later.  Have a function to go to first.
It was a great game despite the weather.  I think I will have to recommend Tinker for potw for the great defense she had today.
Also talked to a couple of crush parents and they were really nice.

later;)

EFC White 8  Reign 0

What a game by EFC!  I must admit.... the Reign team was commented on by many of the EFC parents as being such a "good sports" type of team!  They never stopped; even though they kept getting scored on.  I also have to say that the GK for Reign really made some pretty awesome saves... but at the end of the day where in the world did the EFC team come?  They are playing AWESOME!!!!!!!!

Looking forward to the meeting with Alliance next weekend!  It will definately not be the same result as last time!!!

« Reply #25 on: November 05, 2005, 09:41:06 PM »

Hey, all you CP's of EFC white or red, is white that good?  Is there going to movement between the two teams for state cup?

Looks like white is a solid team.  Would like to see how well they do against the elite 8!  Does anyone know if they have played any of them and if so how well white did.

Thanks for any info!

HARBOR FC 2 HSA EAGLES Laity 1

A good game, a little sloppy due to the conditions but none the less a great win for the Harbor girls. Thanks to the Eagles for sticking in there the whole game. A couple of late runs could have tied it.

HGL--  EFC White has played Reign Purple back in July at the Evergreen Tournament and they lost to them 4-0.  Other than that, I believe that is the only team they have played as far as "real" games are considered.  They scrimmaged the Red team in practice and beat them 2-1... half field, muddy, and no Red coach present.... not much of a scrimmage--more for fun!  Would be interesting though to see how this team does against some of the Elite 8 now though!  Hope this helps....
