Once again Dragon very sad at response from District 1. Are all of the parents up here too protective to give name?? Heck, just make up a name. You will know who it refers to
Thanks for all the GREAT nominations again this week. Sorry to say a lot of the nominations go outside of Dragon's rules for this award (Please refer to Dragon Rule book Chap. 73, paragraphs 3 though 9)
again I will point out some basic rules for you CP's:
1. MUST have name and # of player nominated and FULL description of game. (not just "had a good game")
2. ALL nominations have to be in before the 6pm deadline, PERIOD.
3. Must be in PM to Dragon
4. Must cover what they did that week ONLY! Not what they did for last 3 weeks please.
5. POTW does not have to score or make a bicycle kick, just play with
Heart & Fire
Well enough with the rules, on to the WINNERS

The Player of the week this week is:
...........................drumroll........................
#14 MORGAN EASTSIDE FC REDThis nomination did not come from Gumby (cause he said he wasn't there)

And makes the nomination even better. Morgan and the rest of the Gumby gals were pumped up for the game, but no one had a more focused look then Gumby Jr. As the gals from both teams took the field to wait the game to begin all the little girls were jumping up and down to keep warm; Not her. She stood stone still and stared down the opposing players as she silently vowed; "You will
not score on me or my team today"! In the freezing wind and rain she gave it her all the entire game. At one point with a Crush gal on the point of scoring within 10 feet of the goal and the goalie caught off guard, Morgan slide in hard and knocked away the ball at the last second, saving what would have been a "for sure" goal. Countless other times during the game she gave it her all to keep the Mighty Crush Stikers from scoring. She didn't stop in the 2nd half either, She continued to chase down every loose ball and clear it from here area and helped set the tone for her teams play. As the rest of the little gals had rain dripping from their face she was covered in sweat. This little gal truely showed everyone what it's like to play with
Heart and Fire.
and now the Team of the Week...........
............................drumroll.............................
SIVER LAKE STARS FCThis team has come a long way over the past few weeks. The last time they Played the Glory it resulted in a loss. This was a low point of the season for the CP's and for the little gals by the Lake of Silver. A lot of teams would give up, but not these 15 super gals! The intensity at practices got higher and higher. Just this week they practiced twice in the freezing cold, rain, and with dark looming on. The 2 hours was not enough for them, they wanted to practice harder and harder. Their goal was not to be "one of the top teams in D1 Red", but to be "the very best"! As they took the field against Mulkiteo yesterday not one girl was nervous. A sudden calm had come over all of them, this was the re-match they had been waiting for. Each girl knew Dragon had picked their game as a "game of the week" and each girl vowed to show Dragon who was the top team in D1 Red. The game was not just a well played game but was a
masterpiece of team work. The passes had never been so crisp, the stikers had never shot with more accuracy, and the defenders were like a solid wall. Not only did they get their revenge against the Glory but they took them apart. 6-0 Silver Lake!!!!! Great Job Silver Lake, each and every one of you displayed what is like to be a team with
Heart & Fire
How bout a big round of applause for the POTW & TOTW
