Sports radio..... um KJR? was saying, "Barbaro didn't "pass away", he was murdered!"
According to another news source, Barbaro was injected with drugs to help him recover, (ever try telling a horse to stay off his feet?)The drugs actually initiated the put down as his liver was failing from the drugs. Sad day in horse racing.
My FIL had a horse at Longacres once, Dancer was racing great but drew up lame and had to be put down too.  :cry:
