Do have to put a woot woot out for the big game this Saturday night--Kentwood Girls 25-0 ranked #1 in Washington vs. Mt Tahoma Girls 25-0 ranked #5 in Washington for West Central Crown.  Game is at Puyallup High School at 8:00PM on Saturday.  Kentwood girls are ranked #14 in nation (for whatever that will get ya).  If you ever want to see some great high school girls b-ball, this may be the game.

the leader for Kentwood (Courtney Vandersloot) is a star soccer player also--was MVP of SPSL before concentrating strictly on basketball.  It worked out ok as she got scholarship to Gonzaga, probably could start for the soccer team also.

Cheese you chasing tail again?

If Jackson can get past Mead which is always a tough match any school from Spokane they would probably face Kentwood. Would be a good match-up  for sure

Try Kentwood against Mead  from Spokane.   Jackson game just about over and they are losing :(   Hard to overcome  58%  field goals made  Mead to 36%  For Jackson,  40%  3 points made to Jacksons 25%.   Bench points for Mead 16  to Jackson  3 points. Should be a good game tommorrow night.  Good luck to both teams.

ughhhh!!!   Kentwood down by 11 in second half--battles back to tie with 50 seconds to go.   There star player drives, shoots flying through the air, ball goes in--but there is a whistle as girls get tangled up--offensive charge--NO BASKET    Lewis and Clark comes down passes it around--seconds left on shot clock girl takes NBA three--swish.  Only 4.2 second left.  Kentwood inbounds to Vandersloot and she goes to opposite top of key--gets a good look--fires and it bounds just off to the left--game over.

Bummer deal--BUT GREAT GAME!!!

Lewis and Clark goes back to back is my prediction.

Sounds like the girls had a great season and a lot to be proud of.  Wanted to go watch last night but had a game of my own, and for some reason the team just doesn't like it if you don't show.

WTG Ravens on beating Chief Sealth for the VICTORY in  Girls 3 A
Great game to watch. The commentary could have been a bit nicer to #34 on CS tho.

The story of the year has to be the German foreign exchange
( Armojo?) student that is living with the teammate. I guess she wan't a real fan of the game, but makes a great player!
