OK, so I had to go look this up, but did you wonder why this year DST starts in MARCH and not APRIL like usual?
I'm not complaining by a long shot! I LOVE the longer hours of light.

Here is an excerpt from one of the pages:

On August 8, 2005, President George W. Bush signed the Energy Policy Act of 2005. This Act changed the time change dates for Daylight Saving Time in the U.S. Beginning in 2007, DST will begin on the second Sunday in March and end the first Sunday in November. The Secretary of Energy will report the impact of this change to Congress. Congress retains the right to resume the 2005 Daylight Saving Time schedule once the Department of Energy study is complete.

Light, light, light.  We need more light.

I would rather see it all go away and not change our clocks at all.  It takes a good week to acclimate yourself back to normal get up hours when it changes.

Lived in this state my whole life and have the hardest time by the end of winter - I need the light!!!  Bring it on- I love the longer days, get so much more done and it always seems easier - not so much of a chore.  The darkness just makes me want to be lazy.

Getting up for work tomorrow gonna bite the big one. :x

Instead of changing the clocks, just shorten the work day by an hour.
We could sleep in that extra hour instead  :P

So why don't "THEY" just keep it at daylight savings time all year instead of flopping back and forth?  It'd be sweet to have the sun set at 5:00 pm at Christmas instead of 4:00 pm.   ;)

I don't care what anybody says--after a few days the light in the evening is awesome.  Now if I could just catch up on my sleep.

Get 2 homes.

1. One in Nome Alaska.  Light 24-7 in summer
2. Faulkland Islands.  Light 24-7 in winter
