Happy Thanksgiving
« on: November 20, 2005, 01:03:05 PM »

Happy Thanksgiving everyone :D

Most teams take the week off and get back to it the week after. ;)

I would just like to say it is a pleasure reading your posts and throwing in my 2 cents worth at times.

Remember to take the time and give your DD's a big hug along with your family.  Be thankful that we have them all and they are healthy. ;)

Also, please be safe if you are traveling

Thanksgiving Soccer Tip
« Reply #4 on: November 21, 2005, 01:01:04 PM »

Here is a tip from the Kitchen of Soccer Mama for this Thanksgiving Holiday. We always do the tradtional roasted turkey with all the fixing but Papadora always deep frys a turkey the day after. If you have never had a deep fried bird you do not know what you are missing. This is the ultimate in eating. It takes about 2 hours to fry up an 18 pound bird and since the oil is so hot is seals the joices in and the meat is as moist as moist can be. You can buy these fryers at Costco and I use them for also doing cornish game hens and chicken when I am cooking for a large group.

Just a tip for the day since this will be a quiet soccer week.
