Aren't the Sounders in Puerto Rico right now playing a game today?

Yep. We play tonight at 5 PM Seattle time in Puerto Rico against the Islanders. We have already wrapped up a playoff spot, but we need one more point (a win or draw) to clinch home field advantage in the first round.

Plus, if you have a fast connection, check out this video clip of Ryan Edwards of the Sounders heading a ball out of the goal on Sunday in Atlanta. It saved our 2-1 win:

Sweet I hope we win! Home field advantage can be a big deal! Do you know if the games going to be on TV or not?

Wow what a play by Ryan Edwards! A header off the top crossbar, straight down, and out! Amazing!!!  :D

Not on TV.

On radio 1150 AM and Internet audio. A few Sounders fans will be listening on the Net while chatting about the match in a soccer chatroom. You can find both links on the top front of http://SounderCentral.com under the Puerto Rico-Seattle match banner!

PS: If you or someone you know has COMCAST cable TV "Digital on Demand," you can see most of the Sounders home matches from 2005. They are still available to view. Friday's match against Montreal at Qwest Field will be shown about 48 hours later on Comcast Digital! You have to look under "Sports" or sometimes "local" in the demand menu.

Sweet thanks Sounderfan! I think I'll check it out tonight!  :D

What's your predictions? What do you think the score will be like? Do you think we have a good chance in winning tonight?

Puerto Rico has lost FOUR of their starters for tonight because they have too many yellow cards and the league is making them sit out a match. That should really help us!

Still, the Islanders will be fighting for their lives! They need to win to keep going toward the playoffs. We are already in. So it will not be easy for Seattle. Plus...it will be about 95 degrees and very humid down there. The Islanders will have a loud crowd  supporting them.

When we played them in Seattle 2 weeks ago the final score was a 2-2 draw. This time I think we can win, but it will be hard if we fall behind early.

We need to control the ball and not panic on defense. It should be a close game.

I don't have any prediction, though!

Here's where the match will be played:

Awesome!   This sounds like it should be a really good game! Hopefully we don't come out too confident and get behind early like you said. Sounds like this game is going to be a close one! Hopefully we can push thru the humidity and hot weather no problem!

Thanks Sounderfan! I'm looking forward to this game tonight!  8)
