This is by far and away the best camp for goalkeepers.  The coaching staff is just amazing.

This is a must camp for keepers.

Awesome coach to keeper ratios.

My dd has been lucky enough to attend two of these camps and honestly they have raised her game to the next level.

If your a keeper or a CP of a keeper really consider this three day session it will be worth it.  You will get some of the best training available.

It is a good camp.  I'd really recommend it for inspiring young GK's.

Personally, I think Bill May/Preston Burpo are the best Trainers in the State.

Bill May/Preston Burpo are also good trainers as well with a different philosophy..... Richard has his own philosophy on GK training and technique and it has seemed to work well!  You don't get players onto the national team because they suck....

The field player camp is still open Cheese so Lil Curd can join..... but you have a lot of sucking up to do!

On another note, back on topic.... there are 8 players signed up on the E.G.A. that are U13-U14 boys and girls..... there is still room too.... send PM if you are interested in joining or have any questions.

I don't think any GK in any serious training program would "SUCK"... those would be your words.  What EGA GK('s) are on the National Team???

I am not implying than any GK suck who are on the national team.  What I am saying is that my husband is capable of taking players and improving their skills to their maximum abilities.  E.G.A. has produced 4 GK onto National teams.  Hopefully we can get one out of Seattle as well as out of Texas.

i would definitely recommend the ega. i've sent my daughter to other "camps" and found them to be a waste of money or an expensive shirt and water bottle. the ega, however, has a high ratio of coaches to kids and the mixing of ages and sexes make for a competitive fun soccer learning environment. the proof is seeing the smiles on all of the faces of the kids and watching my daughter apply what was taught in the academy at practice.

i was really impressed by the young husky players' coaching skills too. all of the instructors, of course, "know what to do" but more importantly are able to teach "how to do it". however, some of you might not like the academy being instructed by all those great husky soccer players  ;-P

Sox'em, By all means, Stand By your Man!!   What are the names/ages of the 4 National Team GK you guys (EGA) produced over the year(s)?  I think everyone knows, Washington's has produced some of the worlds top GK's, Marcus Hahnemann (SPU)., and Casey Keller (Lacy, WA).....

Chicken, do future stars count?!  Not into goalkeeping myself, but I believe  that ECFC 93's goalkeeper (considered by many to be the best at age in the state) loved training with this guy all year and is following him for the next year.  Turning down Crossfire is a big vote of confidence for someone.

Crossfire teams speak for themselves, both girls and boys. If you look at state cup results this year, they are the best, that is a reflection of year long GK training.  Along with match experience, a serious GK needs training... if you have a happy GK that loves to train hard, go for it!

Chicken, as any good wife should stand by her man!
EGA has produced GK into National teams for the following ages in the last few years... U15 girls, U17 girls onto the U21, U20 girls, and U18 boys.  Let's also not forget Hope Solo as she is one of WA's best produced and something to be proud of!!!  As for Bill we also think he is one of the best coaches in WA.  As obvious by Crossfires success, but lets note that not all the best GK play for Crossfire.  Also thanks for recommending the Academy as that was very nice of you.

There is still room in the Academy.  So far this one is composed of players who are 12 and older with more of the players who play U15 age (goalkeepers and field players).  Please PM me with any questions or send me your email address and I will send you the forms.  Confidenciality is held in the highest regard.
