"Group of Death" is a bracket with at least 3 powerhouse teams in it. One of the teams that could be good enough to make it to the semi-finals will not be able to advance past the 1st round. Only 2 advance.

Poor Norpoint has a huge hill to climb. I think they could have done well with a different draw.
Crossfire, Timbers and Reign are all capable of being in the final 4 teams.

The girls have had a great season as far as I am concerned and we (the parents and coaches) are very proud of them!

Just remember that the other teams are concentrating on each other and may come in overconfident. This will be a great challenge. What fun would it be if it were easy. I would say good luck, but luck doesn't win games, teamwork does. SO GOOD TEAMWORK!!

If there is a team out there that is full of surprises... it is Norpoint. I think Gumby is one of few the CP's out there that saw us in the beginning... first time ever playing together... round robin in Kent...
played Eastside Red... got butts kicked 6-0, then Dos...kicked our butts again 6-0... then Norpoint figured out what they were doing wrong... beat Dos 1-0.... from then on... Norpoint has kept improving. Sure, we have had a few off days... who hasnt... but all in all.... the girls have Come a long way baby!!!! :mrgreen:

I remember that and being so impressed with how the Norpoint girls kept thier heads held high. They'll keep them high in this "bracket of death" too... A great bunch. This guy is rooting HARD for the Americans.

I am also rooting for Norpoint (got to love the underdog!) But just in case they do not make it I am also rooting for the Royals (everyone I know connected to this team are great people)
