That list is exactly why the rankings are lame..no offense to the teams named, but having Crossfire A.Lombard listed before the P Lombard says it all. Next!!!!!

The first one is better because it ranks Washington teams only.  All this national rankings stuff is way off base.

I agree i like the first list better. The second list might of made a mistake mixing up  the x-fire teams. Cascade is 32. It is better than 33.  :D

These rankings are great for what????  Realistically who is the only undefeated U11 team in Washington?? No ties, no losses!!  Of course it coudl change at any time, but for now I believe the 94 Royals are #1, they will attempt to prove it once again this weekend!!!

Also, remember these are 9, 10 and 11 yr old girls.  Do you think they really read it, or is it the parents???

You know, I honestly think people under estimate these girls.  You would be surprised at how many of these young ladies think about winning.  It is definately about them having fun, but at this age, they do have a sense of competition and they do care about winning and losing, that is why they cheer or cry after each game.  So to say they just want to have fun is not a true statement.  Now I agree that rankings are more for the CPs, but lets be realistic, these girls are competitive and want to have metal just like the older girls.

Listen to the CP's on the sidelines, and then listen to the DD's on the bench cheering on the team.  Yes the ones on the bench give an occasional "go team" but it's mostly from the CP's. :?
Yes the girls are extremely competitive and want to win all games...who doesn't, but if they won all the games and didn't have fun they would either play for a diff. team next year or just quit.

As they get a little older winning will become just about everything and override the fun factor and even pain.  Not too many girls at this age will play with lots of pain, older ones rub it off, get back up, choke back the tears and git-er-done.

It's the CP's who strive to make their DD's better and play on the best team.  Just ask your DD if she wants to leave her friends or play on the best team in the state. ;)

I couldn't agree with you more, but just sounded like you were saying the girls just want to have fun and nothing else is important.

As far as Cyndie Lauper is concerned, Girls DO just wanna have fun ;)

Lets keep it lite ya'll, Every DD is different.

Dragon, believe "most" kids do things to please people at this age, (not saying every kid though) ;)

Boys tend to be a little different though :?

   Thought the rankings interesting but really means little to the kids, just helps us CP's.  I still think that in the end a team from out of no where steps up and does not win the whole thing, but does some real damage to some CP's hopes and some clubs dreams.
