EFC White played FC Alliance Gold today in a friendly scrimmage.
EFC White 0 FC Alliance Gold 1.  WOW are they physical.  We did not use a center ref and I am glad as my girls needed to see what physical paly was like.... (they didn't see it at Starfire so I thought I would line up a game where they would have to deal with it! )  :lol:  We tried a new formation for the first half and it looked shaky at first but by the end of half the girls started to understand it.  2nd half was much better....ahhhh the comfortable feeling of knowing the system...  :mrgreen:

FC Alliance goal came from a great build up on the right side of the field and a reallynice cross to an open player back post for a volley.  Her defender was talking to her coach, but even if she wasn't I would have to think the goal may still have happened, it was pretty!!

Was the 94's... agree physical game and good for the girls.  DD had a great time and is enjoying getting to know the system....

Parents from Alliance were awesome too...  Heard both sets of parents commenting on play regardless of it was their team or the other...  

Goal from Alliance was pretty...  nice cross and I think #18 just finished it...  after that both teams had opportunities...

This was a good back and forth game.  Both teams played well.

Loved the PK's at the end......good practice for the girls.

Personally, I think D has an alarm system rigged to his computer so when ever someone posts something lights and sirens go off throughout the house!!

THANKS!  You have always been a great supporter of ours.  I would hope that many teams are coming together and that there are no players unhappy with how their team is playing.  This team has some funny personalities showing through that I never knew existed!!  WOW, what a great age!

The EFC girls were laughing together before the game, played tough during the game and then back to all smiles and laughter after.  It was great!  I only worry about the fact that a few girls were looking  (during PK's) back at the boys team  warming up behind them  :shock: . Certainly not  ready for that stage!
