CHAMPIONS - 2007 Rogue Valley Cup
The Revolution had a successful sweep through the U-15 bracket at the Rogue Valley Cup in Medford Oregon. They went 2-0-2 giving up ZERO goals to end up second in points by 10-8.

This put us in the championship game against the Oregon Soccer Academy Renagades for the championship match. Battling for 80 minutes we ended in a 1-1 tie in regulation. The score remained knotted at 1-1 following the 2 x 15 minute overtimes. Down to a shoot-out the boys tied it up after the first five. We then went through another four each.

Blocking the 9th shot for the Renegades, Suku Hudson set up our 9th shooter to win the Championship.  And it was very fitting that Gustavo took the shot and won the match.

Congratulations to Gustavo for being chosen our MVP for his outstanding play during the entire tournament (see picture below).

Congratulations also to the players, parents and coaches -- just found out that we were given the Sportsmanship Award by the referees!!  This award was a culmination of all games, not just the final.

This was a great tournament. The returning and new boys and parents had a chance to bond together. The weather was great. The soccer was good, especially for the first formal games of the new season.
