NWN dominate Crew en route to 4-2 win.
After spotting a goal in the 20th minute on a defensive breakdown, NWN scored the next 4 goals in   25 minutes in securing their first W of the new season. A new forward for the Club had a hat trick as Nationals continued their momentum from their PCC Championship. Nice all around play by the entire team.
Funny to see the Snoho coach scouting and then leaving early second half after the game was in hand. He missed Crew's last goal in the 75th minute 8)

In other action, some team from Eastside beat Pacific ;)

I can answer that.... NO  It's hard to explain really, because I know he could be playing somewhere. I think it's more about making a choice.  :|

Sometimes it is hard when your spirit is broken.  I wish him luck and if he really loves the game, just play.  If not, this may be his chance to just be a guy and try something else.

Broken spirits can kill the love of the game thats for sure.
DD almost had that this year playing with other "Club" team. She moved on and now I see the BIGGEST change in her its not even funny!
She used to HATE going to practices and would get all moody ( B%&$*y   )  on Tues and Thurs prior to leaving the house. Now, she is ready at least 15 minutes before we have to leave out the door! Now she says she really doesn't even want to go back to Select and stay in Rec. Much less pressure and she enjoys it!
She even got a goal yesterday!

It's all about finding the right fit....good for her Brat. My hope is eddy and his son find a good fit and he keeps playing.

I'm hoping the same for him. If DD can find a fit, anyone can!  LOL

I am not sure why his boy did not catch on with another team. I know last year was a tough one for him because of size issues. But still there are some small boys at BU16 with great skill like him who hold their own (although it's tough on challenges when many of these 15/16 year olds are built like men!!). I think the process of tryouts was discouraging and finding a new team was a hard one after all his years with Viet. I hope he continues to play. He has great touch and vision and is a really nice kid.

2 big questions for BU16 P1  :
1) with only 6 Clubs, can or will any team be relegated?
2) does this season matter at all  save for State Cup seedings????

Losing Xfire and WPFC, I hate to admit, is like Juventus leaving SerieA. It ain't the same.
And what's up with our Academy teams? Their League starts in OCT yet  have heard that  both Xfire and WPFC passed up an opportunity to play Snoho this weekend in a friendly. Scheduling ridiculous now. NWN OFF this  coming weekend as they were to have played the BJs.  They then tried to get Vancouver to play their late season match now but Crew afraid to play NWN at home this soon after this  past weekend's spanking :P
Instead NWN after a BYE week then travels to YAkima  the following   Saturday and then home on Sunday to play that team from Eastside.  .

THANKS  FOR STEPPING UP WSYSA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
