I agree with all but 3. I'll take Harbor over Snohomish (that 1st big win for Duffy), Westsound over FC Vancouver Glory (my opinion---game of the week between 2 unbeatens), and Evergreen Boyes over 3 Rivers Desert Storm.

The standings look like this.  Looks like DOS could move up to the top group depending the outcome of Sat's game.

A few suprises I think. The fall off FWU, strong showing for HPFC, and WPFC with ZERO wins

The middle of the pack is tight :D   There are a few matches this week that will be must wins for each side.  Not sure when the secod half of the schedule comes out, but for some, I am sure they are hoping next week, not this week and others hope it's this week.

1   FC Vancouver Glory
2   Crossfire Premier 96 - Ki. Barton
2   HPFC Eagles 96 Krage
4   NWN G96 Red
4   WestSound FC 96 JOSSERAND-A
6   Eastside FC 96 Red
6   Evergreen G96 Boyes (A)
6   Snohomish United Potthast
----------Split for 2nd half-----------------------
9   Emerald City FC F96 Green
10   Dosveedanya 96 Red
10   FWU Reign 96 Purple
12   3-Rivers SC 96 Desert Storm
13   FC Marauders 96 Blue
13   Spokane Shadow Navy
13   FC Alliance Gold '96 A
16   Washington Premier FC Black
17   Harbor FC '96 Duffy A

Saturday
FC Alliance Gold '96 A Dosveedanya 96 Red

Not sure how the PDL is going to organize the back half of the schedule but something tells me they won't base it on total points.
I'm sure an arguement will be made that points earned in bracket 2 are not equal to points earned in bracket 1 based on the level of competition blah blah blah.

I can forsee a couple options:
1) move the top team from bracket 2 up to bracket 1 (bracket 1 would have 9 total teams and bracket 2 would have 8.)
2) move the top 2-3 teams from bracket 2 up and the bottom 2 -3 teams from bracket 1 down
3) Reshuffle by total points

As stated b4 option #3 aint gonna happen ;) . Option #2 is probably their intent. However when some club complains about being moved down they'll probably compromise with option #1
.... or scrap the whole Bracket 1 / Bracket 2 thing due to "lack of agreement on a path forward" and schedule random cross-over games

I think they might very well look at the scores and such,  I know that WPFC has not won any games, but they have not been blown out of any either.  I think Duffy will move down and FWU or ECFC.  I think you will see Glory move up.  Dos if they win out, will move up because they have the win over Evergreen and only loss to Glory 1-0.

One of the big things PDL said from the get go was like for like competition.  FWU might have a case, but they need to win the next two games against WPFC and ECFC.  I think the winner of the FWU vs ECFC stays up

got a PM with an interesting option.
Weight points earned in bracket 1 at 1.5 vs a weight of 1 for points earned in bracket 2.
Bracket 1 (1 = 1.5)
Bracket 2 (1 = 1)

Using this method this is what it would like like as of 10/1/07:

PDL1-A
1. X-Fire 16.5
1. HPFC 16.5
3. NWN 15.0
3. Glory 15.0
5. EFC 13.5
5. Snho 13.5
7. ECFC 10.5
8. Westsound 10

----------------------
9. Reign 9
9. Evergreen 9
----------------------
PDL1-B
11. Dos 6
12. 3-Rivers 4
13. WPFC 3
13. Marauders 3
13. Spokane 3
13. FC Alliance 3
17. Harbor 1.5

Looks about right.  No matter how you figure it, Glory and another team from bracket 2 deserve to move up.

It's all an exercise in guessing since the PDL has not communicated what or how they plan to re-shuffle. :?:

An optimist will look at it from the point of view that the PDL will do the right thing in support of their Like vs Like mantra

A pessimist will say they didn't define the process because all decisions are made behind closed doors (on purpose)  and benefit only a select group yada yada yada
