Except for Crossfire, Harbor was in every game and probably should have won three of them. Alot of inexperience on the team and the record is not a direct indication of where they are in their development. Not alot of blowouts all around in group #1. I am sure others would agree that the records are not a direct relection of how good the teams are in Group #1. There is noone that does not  belong there ability wise! :D

I don' dispute what you say .... question for ya though ..... if you were the PDL what would you do for the second half of the season?
Where would you honestly put Harbor / WPFC / Reign and why?

In all honesty, I would like for the teams to stay and play each other twice, like it was in District last year. And in a perfect world there would not have been two groups in Bracket A to begin with.Everyone would get to play everyone but I know there are too many teams to do that. I don't know what should be done. But I may eat my words but if these teams are placed down in group #2 I think these teams will dominate that group. Granted I think Vancouver should be in Group #1 however.

I guess we will see how it all plays out...... :|

I wouldn't consider being dropped down such a bad thing, nor do I think being moved up is much better.  You play your games where you play them and do everything you can to win wherever you are.

Get as much experience as you can and take it out on the other teams come STATE.   ;)

I think that in Glory's case, not moving up would be against what the PDL stood for, like for like competition.  The speed of the game I am sure is different between Spokane and Crossfire.  How can you truly develop and get a good feel for the speed of the game if you do not play them?  I think Harbor will be dropped and Glory will be bumped up.  Not winning is also difficult as a team.  You have to have some confidence going into to State Cup.

I agree.   And I really agree that a move down in the long run will boost morale.  How could winning games not boost morale.  Gather yourself win games, and take out any frustrations from earlier losses on those same teams come tourney time.

6. FWU parade is getting Reigned on.
7. Snoho turning up da heat!
8. ECFC getting their groove thing going
9. Westsound got slapped around this weekend. Didn't like the taste .... they'll bounce back.
10. Evergreen quietly going about their business (sleeper team?)
11. 3-Rivers showing flashes
12. Dos .... what up?
13. X-Fire: Still the one to beat!
14. EFC still a contender?
15. FC Alliance / Spokane / FC Marauders all working hard and making strides

1. Undefeated: FCV Glory! - They are doing what they need to do to be moved into the top tier.
2. What happened to WPFC? - The are not getting blown out and they still have 4 games to show what they can get it done.
3. HPFC Eagles soaring! - They are playing well.  They still have 3 tough games left.
4. Is Harbor gonna win a bracket 1 game? - They still have to play Eastside, NWN, ECFC.  They will not win a game.
5. NWN got game! - They are playing well, but by looking at paper they can be scored on.
6. FWU parade is getting Reigned on. - Since beating Eastside in week one, they have not shown anything since.
7. Snoho turning up da heat! - If you look at the 3 wins, they game against Harbor, FWU, WPFC.  They have not beaten anybody in the top of the standings.
8. ECFC getting their groove thing going - They have played the hardest schedule to date and have came out of it 2-1-1.  They will end up winning the first half in bracket 1  .
9. Westsound got slapped around this weekend. Didn't like the taste .... they'll bounce back. - Good team, they will win the last two, but will stay in bracket 2.
10. Evergreen quietly going about their business (sleeper team?) - They have lost two the 2 better teams in bracket 2 and still have to play Glory on the road where they have not won yet.
11. 3-Rivers showing flashes - I have said it from the beginning they are not a good soccer team and they can play kick ball with the best of them.
12. Dos .... what up? - They are not a bad team, they have some size.
13. X-Fire: Still the one to beat! - This is where I think everybody gives these gals way to much credit.  They have either loss or tied with the top teams in bracket 1.  They pounded Harbor, FWU, and Snoho in the first game of the season.  These girls are good, but they have not beaten anybody yet.
14. EFC still a contender? - YES.  They have Harbor and Snoho left on the schedule.  The toughest part of the schedule is over and have faired pretty well.  Unlike Crossfire they have beaten a top team, NWN.
15. FC Alliance / Spokane / FC Marauders all working hard and making strides - Not every team can be elite.  We are talking U11.  These teams have good coaches and some good skills.  They are developing and you have to hand it to the players and the parents for making the commitment and seeing the big picture and how these girls will benefit from playing in the PDL in a year or two.

Had a chance to see this team this weekend...agree with others that they are young and need scoring power but a great defense and playing very good teams to a draw this weekend. Keeper is the glue and watch out when they get some legs up front.

Welcome Quickstep!

Regarding offensive punch: I think you hit the nail on the head for many GU10/GU11 teams
Looking at the GU11 stats (GF/GA) on the PDL website there are a bunch of teams in the same boat ;)
