I'm looking forward to the Nemesis 94 vs LOSC Dynamite game. These two teams have played twice. A last minute goal, by LOSC, to tie the game in qualifiers probably keep FCSC out of the Gold Division. FCSC won the first round league game 3-2 but was ahead 3-0 when LOSC mounted a come back. This should be a good one.

The true game of the week is Sunday's CPSC Timbers vs. SSC Ireland at 10:30 am in the Couv'.  Timbers and Ireland are tied with identical 8-2 records and this could very well decide the winner of Oregon Premier Gold.  I'm making the assumption based on both teams winning their other three games, which of course won't be easy.

I'm looking forward to U11 girls Synergy vs. FC Crush, first and second place teams matching up for the first time all season.  Synergy has 4 wins, 2 ties, FC Crush undefeated, 6-0.  both teams have matched up twice in jamborees, 3-3 and 0-0.

Have they faced eachother yet in league?

How is their record with like opponents?

How many games left in the "fall" league in Duckville?

last question;

Since Timbers don't play in your state cup, how much does it matter to your team if you win or lose?

if you have tied that team twice, why is your record so different?

Have you played the "Same" opponents?

Do you think both your teams are evenly matched?

Will you both play in the same cup?

IMHO, Crush is far more disciplined and experienced.  From what I've seen this U11 team has been together for some time and plays systematically, picking teams apart.  Synergy is a new team this year and plays incosistent.

Both teams have played every team in their division, this would be the last to complete the first half of the season.

I have no idea what Synergy will do for state.  From what I've heard, I would assume Crush will play in the top state tourney.

Timbers beat Ireland 1-0 a few weeks ago.

Irelands two losses were against Bend and Timbers.  Timbers' two losses were against OUSA Ginga, and Bend.

Four games left for both Timbers and Ireland.  Bend has three games left with one more loss in the loss column than both Timbers and Ireland.

Does it matter?  Yes and no.  If Timbers win Oregon it doesn't really matter because they can't play in Oregon State Cup, but it does matter because a loss is a loss as we compete against Bend for the #1 seed for Oregon State Cup.

This will be a great game, I wish I could be there.  I will be watching Snoho even though the WPFC vs Xfire will be a better game.

Wednesday game Snoho vs NWN.  This will be a good game of two teams that have not seen each other yet.  Even with Spring Jamboree and Summer Tourneys these two have not met.

It's a big game.  As HM said, they're competing with Bend for the #1 seed in the State Cup.  Bend almost has the easier schedule, not that any of them have an easy schedule.  This has been the most competitive season for the Gold Division in a number of years for our girls.  Ireland is in the driver's seat at this point (with 1 less loss), but that could all change this weekend.

I agree this would be a great match.  A scrimmage perhaps!  Do you think it would ever happen?

Highly unlikely I would imagine.  PDL vs. non-PDL.  Maybe if Crush played up in a local tourney.

GU14 Div 3

Newport Barfoot playing well getting a shot at Lighting.  Should be good

GU13 WSPL White & Green

Cascade FC & CB United  something's gotta give....CB's a scoring machine.

Red & Blue
94 ISC Arsenal & BHFC 94......should be a good'n...edge to arsenals finishing and strong d.  BHFC's got a good d too and can score.  24 goals to 12 in Arsenals favor.  Looks like sisters of the P1 leading SSFC White juggernauts.

P1- Agree SSFC - MRFC.  Just don't think MRFC has enough bulletts in this one

pdl u14 games of the week:

1A: NWN Reds vs FCV
1B: Eastside white vs Sun City Strikers
1C: Snohomish Gere vs NWN Blues

Good luck to all. My picks would be NWN reds, Sun City Strikers and Snohomish to win.

BU14 Div 2

two matches that could shake up the top 4 in a balancing act

GRFC T-Birds vs RCSC Steelers - bird's D too good in this one
FC Shorline vs Newport - I like Newports D. Can they  hold off the scoring of the Lions?

regarding GU11 PDL1-A ..... I'm interested to see how the first crossover games between Bracket 1 vs Bracket 2 play out :D

Spokane heads west for a double header with Harbor Duffy and WPFC Black. Both Harbor and WPFC are winless in the first half of their league play. Will their first wins come at the expense of the visiting Bracket 2 teams? Lose to a mid/lower-mid pack Bracket 2 team and some will say that's where they belong in the first place

3-Rivers also heads west for a match vs. Snoho Potthast.
This is a "statement" game for 3-Rivers ..... they pull this off and instant respect. Lose and they go home as just a "bracket 2 team" ;)

A BU14  game to look forward to this weekend is the  WPFC vs Columbia Timbers.  It is always fun to see these two teams  battle it out.
