The Dec. 29 Seattle Soccer Blog flashes back to the Tacoma Stars and looks at the new DISL (local indoor league) that will play 10 matches starting January 28th, 2006.

Hey ... I knew you could guess. He will also play some forward at times too. He is fun to watch. no especially tall, but very cat like, athletic!  Maybe I will see some of you there when he plays his home games at indoor, starfire.  or maybe when they play snohomish at the snohomish dome.

should be fun :D

Tell us more about your nephew...

Age?
Dreams of "going pro?"
Playing experience?
How did he hook up with this indoor team?

We will definately be checking them out @ Starfire.  We will watch for him.  Someone should post game times on the forum.  Maybe we could get a WPS cheering section going to show our support!

Lets seee...

His name is Shaunte ( pronounced shawn) Kenyon. He plays primarly goalie but does get out and play forward at times. He is about 5 6 ish. Not sure of the weight. but he is one strong kid. he is ummmmm 21. Played mostly for FC Kitsap. At P2 and P3 levels. Played for South Kitsap with his brother Andrew( who may be playing too? ) ...  He would love to play either indoor professional or even outdoor. IT seems he likes indoor better though... dont blame him... its warm indoor and the games are quick and done. Outdoor can draw out a bit. hmmmm... thats what I know for now. I think he doesnt play in Snohomish until Feb. His first game is at Starfire on the 27th or 28th. We will be there. I will make sure I wear something bright or a funny looking hat... ( we have to go to Spokane for one state cup game, I am praying it is not the same weekend!) :D  anyway ... look for us ... once I tell you what I will be wearing   8)  :D  :D  goooooo Seawolves!!
