Wondering what the differance is between the academy & ODP? Is it the same goal? I do know the cost part of it    :shock: ...just wanting more info on the two to decide which is "better" (if either are considered "better").

Academy is one mechanism to be seen playing for and against the creme de la creme.It gives maximum exposure to College and MNT coaches. Or at least that's the party line.
ODP at the younger ages allows kids to be seen and improves their chances of moving to an Academy team if desired. Otherwise, at the older ages it is getting watered down a bit and probably serves a slightly lesser though arguably still important role in exposure to this same group of coaches.
