I heard via word of mouth that two teams from same club aren't allowed to advance out of the brackets play. Crazy rule if true.  If so, that means that either NWN team needs to win their bracket to get out, or play off if'n they tie with each other for first or second.  Also might explain why both NWN clubs are in the same bracket?
Any truth to that?

Not the end result I expected.  I would have thought this game might have been 4-1. Nothing against the green girls, but we're talking about the defending state champs here.  X-fire must be a bit rusty, or could it be they're finally slumping?  That would be nice for the rest of us in the bracket.  :twisted:  :twisted:  :twisted:

No, it's called having two teams who end up being quality teams because your club manages to pull good talent. And being confident enough to put your "blue" team in the Champ cup. Happened with last years U12 teams also.  Both made it to semi's.  The saddest thing this year is that both ended up in the same bracket.  No good ending for that either way.  Last year RED and BLUE would only have met in the finals. Ooohhh sooo close.  NWN isn't the only club that could do this, there are a lot of good "B" teams out there.
