All I can say is that the CW Crush has dominated the ball position 90% of every game in this tournament. Last game they played againist the BHFC 95 Klimek team that finished 1st in the Gold division and the Crush controlled the entire game. The Klimek had only been scored on 5 times all season out of 12 games. After beating the Klimek 2-1 the CW Crush will be moving on and looking forward to next week to the same kind of game.

You are making a big mistake by under estimating your opponent - the Fusion Thunderballs. Don't know the extent of their injuries that have caused them to play in the Commish, but this team when healthy could play with the best of them in the Challenge Cup. Should be a good game, but my money would be on the T-balls.

Where and when is this game....may stop by and watch.

What I do know is that they took 6th out of 7 teams for the season and they are the "A" team over the Fury. I do see they ended with 4 wins, 5 losses, and 3 ties with GF 13, GA 12 for the season. I try not to ever under estimate my opponent because I have seen my sister team spank a team 6-0, which in the past we beat our sister team every game and loss to the same team in PKs 1-0 last year in state cup. As for the team playing down due to injuries, well it is what it is and if they are trophy hungry then they better come real hungry because the Crush is not handing out any scraps. I do know it's at their field and they did put in for 4:00pm but nothing is firm. This will be a great game to come and watch for all.

I'll grant their win over BHFC Klimek is a triumph. But, yikes that's a lot of boasting for a team that has had two ties and two one goal wins in the four Cup games they've played so far. We'll see if all this hot air fills their sails in the coming weekends!

I'm not trying to boast or be cocky about my team, I do have a lot of confidence in my team. All season the CW Crush has dominated ball position and controlled the field. We are looking forward to a great game with the Thunderballs.

It all depends on our win on Saturday if we move on. My team has never wanted a win more then they want Saturday's game. Last year we only made it to the top 16 (elimation round) out of 42 teams. This year we have made it to the top 8 out of 30 and the girls can't wait to play.

Alrighty then...my first post.

I am entering with a BANG!!! Please don't be to offended...this is youth soccer we are talking about! :lol:

I am loosely affiliated with this topic/age, so I will put the smack down on CW Crush for five simple reasons;

1. You are in the Commish Cup dude. Your team is therefore NOT THAT GOOD compaired to the higher levels we see in our state!
2. You came out of your bracket group SECOND!... not to mention you didn't score many goals, 2?!, against other "NOT VERY GOOD TEAMS!"
3. 90% in the other teams half!? Are you off your rocker or are your rose colored glasses that rosé?! :lol: I watched your team play CF Shull at MM Park and you are lucky to have gotten the tie. It was a very even game...end to end, that both sides fought hard to win, and you were lucky they didn't capitalize on your offside’s, we think we're a pro EPL team, trap. Go ahead and keep playing it...go ahead and think your all that with it, and a team and a coach with half a brain will demolish you with one single fast athlete that can get under it and shoot one past your very good keeper/sweeper. I have to give her props...she is awesome. :twisted: I wonder when she will bail to a better club/team?
4. What is the deal with having your WHOLE team be Captain/s? Do your Keeper a favor and give her the honor she deserves; Captain!! It is an honored position that you give to your best player/leader...not your subs that wallow in mediocrity and minutes on the field.
5. How many CW coaches does it take to coach your team? I counted at least 5 on the sidelines of that game. Buy hey...they are all that because of you alone...right?! lol
6. BONUS!!! I can't believe you talked smack about Klimek's BHFC team! I would bet every dollar I have, which isn't all that much, that it was a great game with a miraculous finish. :shock: He is a good coach that developed his players quite well. His defenders did a great job all season by only allowing 5 goals in their net, and you boasting about squeeking out a one goal victory against them is obscene! Nice job COACHES! lol *Do you remember that even if you all do wear shin guards and boots to coach your games, it is the girls that make the ball go up and down the field, NOT YOU?!!! hahahaha!

Five good reasons you, CW CRUSH, are a MUPPET! It is hard not to really, really...REALLY hope that the Thunderballs (what kind of name is that by the way?!) whoop your teams butt this weekend for all the crap you talk about your team being so dominant in the Cup. Being snide is poor form. Being snide with a youth soccer team that is in the Commish Cup is just plain MUPPET! lol!!!!!!!!!

On a more positive note...Squash is the $H!* for bringing this site to all of us that love the game and love watching our youth play it! I love the positive feeling this site brings to us in our soccer community. It is a great "reality" check for so many CP's out there that take their views and opinions to an arcane level. It is also a sweet deal that we have our own little "Sportscenter" where we can get the latest game recaps and scores when it would have been nearly impossible to attain that information previously...well at least until the State got around to posting the scores FOUR MONTHS LATER!

Word em' up...and seriously, best of luck to all teams in this crazy tournament we call the State Cup!!! It will have its ups and downs for all, but the lesson's it will teach our youth will last a lot longer than I will! Cheers!
