Here's a novel idea. Why not make EVERY Association charge the same amount so that $$$ is NOT an issue for families in their choices AND hardship cases should apply to WSYSA or whomever and have their data on file so that ALL Clubs are aware and can dole out scholarships EQUITABLY!! Why   Club X charges MORE than Club Y is a ridiculous concept anyway! This is YOUTH soccer , NOT Yale or Harvard :twisted:

I agree with Gumby, the comments above are spoken as if they came straight from a communist.  We live in the good old USA, and you cannot tell private organizations what they are allowed to charge their "customers".  Some clubs are more attractive for a variety of reasons, and those clubs can and should charge more.  Those that have a more difficult time attracting players will not be able to charge as much.  I hate stating the obvious, but it seems some need to hear it.

Must be fun living in a vacuum.  Especially UCHTT who lives in the good ole USA and DrFredC who lives in a cornfield :twisted: And Gumby  :shock:

 Not too  crazy about Communism although I have read Marx's Communist Manifesto. WIKIPEDIA defines Communism as: a socioeconomic structure that promotes the establishment of a classless, stateless society based on common ownership of the means of production.
How about Socialism . Well...I don't think ALL clubs are the same. Some are definitely better funded, sponsored and staffed than others. I am certain that Crossfire's mission statement is to be THE PREMIER club in the state...with that said, you have to be able to take the heat. If you know Crossfire is clean and well-managed, and focused on player developement and positive life experiences for these kids, great. Put up with the heat. You have to admit that Crossfire is a business for many. This is what they do and what supports their family. Many clubs are run by mostly volunteers, after their regular 40-60 hr per week job. They do the best they can with their volunteer time and volunteer money.

The clubs ARE different. But just because they are different, doesn't mean they are all crooks. Deal with it. Crossfire is TOP DOG and trying to get even more dominant. Some are willing and able to pay for it, and some are selected and given the opportunity. I have been informed due to WA State Child labor laws,  there cannot be 8 minors working on the set of such a program; however an astute production director presented an alternative solution.....have 8 parents of said 8 possible players live with the Crossfire trainer at a complex performing various acts of chivalry, desperation and surprise.......top parents nominated so far;  Vms, Yote19. Soccerblue, Easternwashington, eeyorejhs, soccermama, Duffer and yours truly, Edmonds55.........i'm game..........

Perhaps later Crossfire will open up a casino, after buying an Indian tribe.  You could spin the wheel, (for a grand a spin), and if you won (one out of a thousand will) your DK joins the "D" team for a year.
