Am I the only one here who just uses a plain old-fashioned hair dryer at tournaments (coolest air setting), or stuffs cleats with washcloths, ties them up in a bath towel, and runs them through the clothes dryer at home (cool air again)?  Maybe just cheap :oops:

Im cheaper than you.... we just stuff them with newspaper. It absorbs all the moisture and works over night :roll:

My dd made the B team of her club a few years back. At the time this team struggled to win a game but she knew she would receive much better training from this club than the local select program. The team had a great coach, a great group of girls and by the next season the team had developed into one of the top B teams.
By the start of her 3rd season my DD decided she wanted much more from this game and was ready to test herself against the top teams. She loved the group she was playing with but need to move up to further her development. Her passion paid off and she made the A team last season and has successfully taken her game to the next level.
Had she never played for this B team she would of never been able to realize the goals she has set towards soccer . Had she not been able to move up she would of probably moved on to another club but when selecting a team whether it is A or B you have to look at the team chemistry, coaching, and what your child wants out of the experience. Playing on the B team does not necessessarily mean your DK is not A team material, it just means there is someone a little better, faster ,stronger, or sometimes just a better fit for the team chemistry within your club's A team

Oops... I meant to say I disagree with the article written. You have to know what you want from this experience and make decisions based on that regardless of the A or B label.

Hmmm, A/B team dilemma...let's look at the GU-92 age group.  Two NWN teams in Premier divisions, two Eastside teams, two Vancouver Justice teams...Some clubs just aren't valuing their B teams enough and other clubs should have more teams in the top 3...
