« Reply #1 on: April 26, 2008, 06:26:10 PM »

These are the GU-15 Elim Scores that I know

River City 2 ; EFC Red 1

Crossfire over NWN Blue in shoot out -- 4 -3 (1 - 1 game score)

These two -- text msgs from a friend --

Alliance 3 ; Harbor 0

Reign 2; Marauders 1

Any U16 scores out there?

Westsound -16 2, Sun City 1.  Should've been 4 or 5 to 1 but a win is a win is a win...I came back home from Yakima but the team is now in Spokane.  Rough draw travel-wise but the girls are in good spirits.

At the end of today, I gotta think these four will prevail:

Rayos: they will have little problem with Reign.  They just have too much talent all the way around.  Reign won't scre a goal.

ECFC-Green: while they seem to be struggling a bit with their new coach and lose of a couple of key girls, a struggling Green can still win state for the 4th year out of 5.  Which River will show up today?  The one that beat Cross or the one that lost to Snoho?  Either way ECFC wins going away.

FCV: This will be a tough game.  Alliance rolled through P2, scoring goals in bunches.  They are fast up front.  However, FCV has perhaps the best defense in the league and have not lost all year.  The rest and home field factor will work well for them.

WP: I see this game going to shoot-out (again for Cross).  The WP keeper is the best in the league and their defense is great.  Look for a 0-0 tie and then PKs.  This is the game of the day.

Will see if I eat crow at the end of the day.

What new coach?  They still have Jason as their coach until the season is completely over, state, regionals, whatever it may be.  What players are you talking about that they lost?  They only lost 1 girl this year.....

WP GK best in state?  I think ECFC Green GK has a shout at being the best GK in the league seeing that she is the ODP starting GK.  Just my opinion.... both are good.

You can take the girl out of Texas, but you can't take Texas out of the girl.
