Need a good BU13 forward/midfielder?
« on: August 05, 2008, 12:49:27 PM »

Okay, so I'm pimpin' out my kid to a team needing guest players.  He is currently on a team that doesn't offer a lot of competition and he's wanting to keep up his skills for next years tryouts elsewhere.  He plays a great forward position and can "see" the field and anticipate the next move, which can result in many goals if the mid or defenders can also do the same.  If I had to pick a weakness it would be him getting back quickly enough to assist the defenders when possession is lost.  He's a great tactical and 1 v 1 player.  Would welcome any other suggestions for him to improve his game.  He's just happy to be playing a good competitive match.

We are in the south sound area.  Puyallup, Graham, but are willing to guest play for most clubs in W. Wash. as long as it isn't right next to either border ;)

Say Nut! Did you find a more competetive team for your kid? I highly reccomend that you do the leg work, find the team and take him to practice. There are lots of good teams in your area.

Nope.  Most BU13 teams have been "full" for awhile and the season is winding down.  And what a season it was.....!  Won't be within this club next year, what a mess!  Hope something else works out elsewhere for next years tryouts.  Will see where he wants to play and whom he wants to try out for and we'll go from there.
