WPS - CrazyParents U11-UCrazy -PG13- / Soccer Tournaments
« on: May 25, 2015, 08:15:44 PM »
Need some help regarding soccer tournaments this summer.  My son's B00 team is playing Pspl this fall.   We have 2 kids with early birthdays in the 2000 (between January and July 31st), so when we go to select tournaments this summer do we have to play U16?    I haven't heard any one mention this before,  are other Boy PSPL teams fighting these same issues?   Would love some feedback on what to do.     Thanks

WPS - CrazyParents U11-UCrazy -PG13- / Guest Player debate

I would like some feedback on an issue that came up today in my son's PSPL classic game.   The team we played had a guest player starting for them.    He plays for Washington Premier Black.    Isn't that a bit extreme for a PSPL classic team.    Do Classic teams really have to go add Premier level players to try and win a game.  Our team has 14 kids on it and we never go add premier level players to try and win a game.     We stay with the kids on our roster, I could just imagine how the parents of the kids who weren't starting felt seeing a guest player starting instead of their son.     I understand this is within the rules of US Club and US Soccer but I think this is taking it to an extreme to win a game.  Just wanted to see how everyone else felt about it.
