LTDAD, clearly you missed the entire first half that ended in a 0-0 draw. Second half was different. A couple of Defensive miscues and one very nice shot made the game.

NKOTB, Not an issue....Win or lose I would have posted about these jackass elitist fools anyway.

They bitched and moaned the entire game. I've never heard so many crybaby's in my life! Especially after the very late hit on the EHS Outside Mid and the BL Mom shouting "she was going for the ball!!" AND the dude in the WPFC Jacket right next to her didn't say a word!

Bonney Lake beats Enumclaw 3-0 in SPSL 3A. I was embarrassed for the group of Bonney Lake parents that sat right behind all of the Enumclaw parents. Several of them were wearing WPFC jackets. Shame on you! Low class all the way. You bellyached the entire night about contact, and bitched and complained when your innocent girls were called for a foul. The game on balance was was fairly played and called, but the whiny bitchy parent stuff was over the top. The best one was the late tackle near the end of the game and a Mom behind me was yelling..."but she was going for the ball"!!!

Comments LTDAD??? Girls played great on both sides....BL parents should be ashamed of themselves.

Yes, another for her collection.....ironically, my kid tells me tonight that Ashley is super nice talking to her off the pitch.

A wild ride in SPSL 3A, expect  more.   AMV on top, BLHS behind, and Decatur and Enumclaw right there ready to knock those top two out.   Tough league this year, Decatur and AMV "bruiser" ball winners, BLHS still looking great just can't play their game against the "beat em up" schools.   Enumclaw will most likely pull a key upset against one of those other 3.   However it plays out, the league champs will be only a game or a tie ahead of 2nd place most likely, tighest race in the last couple of years.    Playoffs?  Now that will be a different story, AMV and Decatur will start getting red cards when traveling to others home turfs and that could be the end of them  (#3 Decatur gets another red card, she is done for the year, and Decatur has nothing without her).  If BLHS can't start competing in physical games, they might have a short playoff run.   Enumclaw, well, they will be done in their first playoff game.   What a year.

Any other leagues in 3A getting close in this next week to having a league champion locked in?   Predictions on their playoff chances?

To comment on Bruiser ball.  For the second year in a row a BLHS player was taken to the hospital becuase of the style of play Decatur plays.  What's unfortunate is I believe there are several other teams that are now without players because they were taken out by Decatur.  As this track record continues at some point a player is going to be injured permantly and then the legal action will commence.  Any good lawyer will be able to show that this type of behavior has been condoned by the coach, league and officials leaving everyone at risk.....What I find interesting is that the officiating at Decatur is much more lenient than when they play away.....There's no "home officials" as you would argue if you think your getting homered so why the difference?  I don't get it.  They are a good team without falling into the bruiser tactic.  You are also correct in your assessment that unless BLHS gets its act together in tougher games the season will end sooner versus later.  I guess Tuesday will be their chance to prove that against AMV.  Regardless, this year has been a wild ride in the league.  Good luck to everyone.

Decatur inflicted season ending injuries to Enumclaw in our first (non league) match. One was our Freshman Keeper who was taken out cleats first to the face (stitches in and out of mouth, and major concussion). I'm told that the player (who was red carded) has made several calls to a mutual contact apologizing for the hard hit. Her explanation is that the coach has made it clear... no mercy! If you get beat and don't take her out....you're sitting! I've heard that the SPSL is investigating this coach for the second consecutive season.

#3 is as usual, out of control (Reign Purple '93... big surprise). She has caused more injuries than any other player I've known. Enumclaw has the displeasure of playing Decatur this Tuesday and we're hoping to survive with our 12 players and not lose any more to the Decatur wrecking crew.

I thought Enumclaw, being down 5 starters (thank you Decatur for 2 of them) held their own in this match. Well played game by both teams. Rematch Oct. 20th.

SPSL 3A: Auburn Mountainview v Enumclaw tonight @ AMV.  Winner grabs 1st place of the league.

It wasn't pretty but it was a win.  Auburn Mountainview 2-0

And how is that relevant, SF?

Im reading the posts and curious as to what everyone thinks now that MRFC has fallen apart. The former treasurer Carrie is going to be investigated for not filing taxes for the club and other money problems. Stwve Cooke quit after several of his girls left his team. All of these people are now being shown in a new light. It seems from the outside looking in that they have been a problem the while time. Alwayssoccermom wrote that she is receiving alot of phone calls. Im curious. Who are you??

I am not going to respond about MRFC falling apart.  But I will with regard to you making a comment about the former MRFC treasurer and Steve Cooke.

1.  The former MRFC Treasurer is NOT being investigated for not filing taxes for the club and other money issues.  This is a very very dangerous and slanderous comment to make.  Unless you attended meetings or have intimate information of how she operated, I would refrain from saying anything.

2.  Steve Cooke has responded on a post about what transpired.  His team (my daughter's)was just in the semi-finals of the Challenge Cup this weekend.  Unfortunately, they were defeated by Eastside.  I can wholeheartedly tell you that this team would have stayed together for as long as they could.  The coaches are great, the girls were phenomenal and the parents are wonderful.  There is an old saying "Why fix what isn't broken?"  MRFC decided to offer him a different team this year and the parents decided to have their girls tryout at different clubs. All the girls want to do is play soccer (really well I might add with their friends) - not too much to ask.

I have been appalled by the recent posts and decided that I am not going to create a login and not reveal who I am (it's called full disclosure).  I am not one of these individuals who would spend the time and create a login/email address, type up a slanderous comment for ALL to see and not reveal my true identity - that individual is classified as a coward.

Joanne Greene-Flynn

The Semi-Finals are next weekend, so how can that be?

My opinion is that these parents are some of the worst bellyachers I've ever heard.

So far we have two stories about this forfeit.
One is that the team had previous issues with proper rosters and player accountability, and in this match used 18 players with 16 being rostered.  The other story is that the coach neglected to tell the opposing coach that he was using guest players from a lower level team, and that this coach had never before passed incorrect information to the refs or the othe opponents.

Both stories cannot be correct.

We're talking about two different games. Ours was not protested.

When we played SH Revolution, we were down 5 starting players due to injury. We lost big to them. That day we learned about the Player Pass rule, and looked into it. Turns out SH Rev didn't follow the rules regarding the Player Pass rule. One of the rules is that the coach must inform the opposing coach prior to the match that they are bringing on non roster-ed players. This didn't happen in our game (which we could have protested just as the Hurricanes did, but didn't since their win was so decisive). It appears that SH Rev abused the player pass rule all season long in the same way. Seems to me that even if these players are coming from lower level teams, if you are able to sub wholesale frequently, you can usually wear down the opposing team.
GR, Curious if the SH Players in your game were listed on the game sheet as playing under the player pass?   And if SH had informed you prior to the match what would/could you have done about it?  The poorly written rules say "The use of the Club Player Pass may not be denied, but it may be contested under the following parameters:
o The Pass was used to produce a winning result (ie: players using the pass were instrumental in the win)
o The Pass was used without proper documentation or notification to the game
official

My interpretation is you have to let them play and can only contest/protest after the fact...if they pass was used to produce...if the pass was used without...all past tense actions.  Nothing I read gives you the right to deny their use prior to the match.  And if you could would you really tell a  kid that just drove an hour or so, No you can't play cause we only have one sub.    Nothing personal and no dog in this fight just trying to point out how the state with their poorly written rules has screwed up once again.

The SH players were listed on the roster, but one part of the player pass rule is that the coach must be notified that there are player pass players standing in. This didn't happen in our game, but realistically, playing down 5 starters, we had our asses handed to us and would have been embarrassed to protest that game even though we would have won the protest.

GU16 RCL Division 1

NWN Blue 2
GRFC Red 0

Played at Renton Stadium this morning, I think this is the first time these two teams have played each other.

After some nice early passing and play by both teams the game opened up a little and the GRFC goalie came up with a nice save on a NWN breakaway. Midway through first half #1 for NWN had another breakaway and this time finished it for a 1-0 lead and that is how it ended at the half.

Second half GRFC came out to play a stronger second half and put some good pressure on the NWN defence, with about 10min to go in the game GRFC had a great shot that went off the crossbar.                 With about 5min to go in the game NWN scored another goal as #22 scored off a shot from in front of the goal coming from a corner kick.

Well played by both teams on thier first game of the new season.

NWN definitely capitalized on the opportunities and defensive miscues.  NWN Blue Keeper made some great saves today too to keep the shoutout!

Delete, delete, delete! My Mom taught me, if you can't say something nice....don't say anything at all! Damn her!

Maybe you need a vocab lesson here.  ???   ::) . and a lesson in the game of soccer..  When two even matched teams are playing, one team is hoping another team makes a mistake so they can capitalize on it....  in the game of soccer  CAPITALIZE in the sentence above means quick thinking players that knew what to do with the ball when they found themselves either 1v1 with the keeper or the ball not being cleared out of the box after a corner...  and I am pretty sure the comment about the Keeper needs no explanation except to say, we also complimented her on the field after she made those saves.

Thanxs for the leson, considder me scooled!
