ID Camps
« on: February 29, 2016, 09:57:50 AM »

Was wondering if we could start a thread listing local (ish) upcoming ID camps.

I know Rush is having a 3-session (but the first session has already passed) Girls ID camp up in Everett. All high school girls can go. Cost is $100 and 6-8 college coaches are slated to attend each session. See http://www.washingtonrush.com/index.php/recreational/washington-rush-girls-id-camp.

Gonzaga

Also this site is handy

Click men or women's soccer at the top and scroll to the state you are interested in.  From 2015 but same schools will have ID camps this year too most likely.

Are this camps worth it for a U12 player?
My DS son got an invitation to the Redhawks Jr Elite Academy at Seattle University, 4 days for 125,which doesn't sound like a lot.Has anybody attended this particular camp and care to share their experience?
Thanks

The invite said it was for 6th to 8th graders so I figured it was more of a camp than anything else. I think I'll take him just to see if they do anything different to what he is already doing.
Thank you

This will be the best and most educational  program in Seattle this summer!

https://eagleclawfc.com/2017-valencia-cf-summer-academy-in-seattle/
 In terms of ID, the top two players will receive an  all expense paid* opportunity to travel to Valencia and train with the youth academy there.

* See website for details.
