Any youth futsal activities on the Eastside?
« on: November 16, 2016, 05:15:03 PM »

Anybody know of futsal leagues or pickup games for youth on the Eastside?  I've tried to look on the internet and only found activities in Seattle or events that happened years ago on the Eastside.

Thanks for any info.

Eagleclaw is offering futsal training programs in Seattle and Tukwila.  Of course, Tukwila is not the Eastside, but it's not that far to go for a high quality program.

How far east are you referring to?

The club I'm associated with is considering hosting a small futsal tournament in January.  We're in the Spokane / Coeur d'Alene are though . . .

Yeah, are you referring to the EWA?  The hub in Liberty Lake has a futsal league.

Not futsal, but indoor soccer. My DD has been playing there since U9 and she loves it.
Warm, dry, fast, and fun. Lots of touches. Relatively cheap. And, beer for the parents.
Depending on your kid's level, you can join a house team which is like a pick up team or
ask an established team to join. There are like three sessions: Fall, Winter, Spring, so
lots of opportunities to play or guest play.

Really helped my kid develop with touches and play time.

You are in luck.  There is a futsal league starting a winter season at  Juanita hight school in two weeks.  http://cascadiafutsalclub.com/ .  The level of competion should be good and they work around your  outdoor schedule.  You choose game day (Sat/Sunday).

Glad to see so much interest in futsal!
