Crossfire Coach Feedback Request
« on: April 27, 2017, 11:15:40 AM »

My daughter is going through tryouts right now, and it looks like she would be slated for C or maybe B.  The coaches for those teams are Alex Neil and Brett Lazby respectively.

If anyone has any feedback on either coach, would love to hear it.

Yes, and it is really easy to evaluate an unknown as they stand with clipboards trying to sort a bunch of rabid 8 and 9 year old girls into A, B, C, and D groups.  You can just learn a lot! :D

Well, with the size of some clubs, you could don a warmup kit, grab a baseball hat, bring a venti with you ... and clip board and probably fit right in and say you are the new coach for the possible F team if it forms and Bernie asked you to help out and get acquainted. Then you can get the inside scoop!    Why not have a bit of fun!

Wish I knew....Crossfire barely has anyone left since I coached there....

Just a bunch of Bernie "YESers" left, but I'm sure some of them are decent coaches. If nothing else they like coffee and beer.....

YESers and coaches there so Bernie will put their kids on an Academy team.

And, you really don't want your dk coached by someone with a kid in the club same age and position. Same for board member kids.

Your kid can have a guaranteed Crossfire DA spot also if you can help a coach's son get into your alma mater to play college soccer!  Just another great Crossfire developmental pathway! ;)
